A: Each SM57 requires an XLR cable to connect it to your chosen output (typically either the input of a mixer or powered speaker). The end that connects to each SM57 should be XLR Female, and your mixer or speaker should have either an XLR inuput (where you can plug in an XLR Male cable termination) or 1/4" input for a 1/4" Male cable termination. In summary, you will need either two XLR F to XLR M cables or two XLR F to 1/4" M cables, depending on what you are plugging the two mics into.

Q: 8. Is thi the item to use when trying to attach a shotgun mic to my D750? Does it work to reduce noise coming through the mic?

A: The A85F serves a similar purpose however designed for PA systems with 1/4 inputs. Not compatible with the D750 which requires a different matching transformer with a 1/8 connection. If you have a self (battery) powered shotgun mic with XLR output and would like to connect it to a DSLR camera with a 1/8 input jack the Kopul LMT-100 is a proper adapter.

Q: 9. Is this compatible with the input and output connectors on AJA KiPro 12G?

A: The Pro Co DA88XF-5 can be used to connect eight XLR audio outputs from a mixer to the DB25 input on the AJA Ki Pro Ultra 12G. You would need a cable with DB25 to male XLR connectors to connect the DB25 output from the AJA Ki Pro Ultra 12G to the XLR audio inputs on a mixer, recorder or other audio input device. B&H # PRDB258XM5 is the same type of Pro Co cable with male XLR connectors.

[Neutrik] Nothing to worry about here - our requirements called for short XLR cables in and around rack equipment... these fit the bill perfectly. Quality and sound. There is always a time to spend more - and there are times when a little three-footer comes in handy without having to pay through the nose for it. Bingo... [Black] I've used ProCo for years and was concerned that these StageMASTER cables were not labeled on the sleeves, but I contacted ProCo and it's an issue with COVID, again. The quality seems fine and they assured me that they have the full, lifetime warranty. So far the sound quality is fine and the cable quality is excellent for the price. 5
