The HP LaserJet Enterprise 700 M712xh Network Laser Printeris a fast, black & white laser printer designed for the workplace with a print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi and a speed of up to 40 pages per minute. It is even capable of getting the first print out in just 10.5 seconds as well as automatic duplex printing. On top of all this, the M712xh features an Ethernet port for connecting it to the network and increasing the potential of the device, including mobile printing with HP ePrint and Apple AirPrint.

Paper handling is done in a couple of ways, first there is a 100-sheet multipurpose tray that can handle heavier paper types up to 11 x 17". Next, there are two standard 250-sheet trays, and a fourth 500-sheet tray that allow you to capitalize on the speed of this machine. All of this is then backed up by an extremely durable duty cycle of 200,000 pages.

The M712xh is going to save on time as well as energy with numerous eco-friendly features. This includes Auto-On/Auto-Off Technology to regulate when the printer is on and off. There is also free cartridge recycling available in over 50 countries.

[Yes] It's not very quiet, but since it can handle many multiple users, it doesn't really belong in an office next to someone's workstation. It's also not very loud, either. But, enough about what it isn't. It is fast, crisp, and clean. I looked at faster, less expensive printers by HP and found there was nothing good in the gap between small office printers and light industrial printers. The one printer in that space had multiple reviewers complaining about failures. You get what you pay for. 5
