Q: 10. Is MGear sustain pedal compatible with this keyboard?

A: The JUNO-DS88 is designed to use with Roland DP style damper pedals, but you can reverse the polarity within the system settings to allow use with any manufacturer's pedal. ----------------------------------------------------We have no references for M-Gear sustain pedals, but this synth is compatible with most sustain pedals from M-Audio, Roland, Auray, Behringer, Korg Quik-Lok, On-Stage, and other 3rd party manufacturer's. We offer a wide selection on the webpage for the Juno synth under the ACCESSORIES tab.

[Tracks: 4] My expectations were met. My delivery was on time. Great for any age. I highly recommend as a gift. The price was very good. I have played with it everyday. It makes me want to write music with it. I love plugging it up into headphones or speaker system. Built in speaker is not best quality. The bass is insane. I also love playing along with songs. Thank you for your service!

[4.9 lb / 2.2 kg] I use the JD-Xi to compose music rather than play live or jam. Although all the demo patches are of the EDM genre, the device is capable of so much more. It is wonderful for generating ideas quickly using the loop sequencer. The JD-Xi is not hard to learn, even though a fair number of functions require some shallow menu-diving (all parameters are immediately below the menu sections). Mercifully, each menu section remembers the last parameter you tweaked and brings it up first, which is a nice touch. Most importantly, there is a stunning variety of current and retro electronic sounds in this box. The drums are samples, but you have so much control over each drum sound when creating a kit that you'll be blown away. The other three parts (it's 4 part multitimbral) are true synthesizer engines, one analog (simple but nice), and two digital (very, very deep). Listen to some of the demos online to see if the sounds are in your wheelhouse. My main complaint is the lack of swing quantization (AKA, shuffle or groove) in the built-in sequencer. Most beats I naturally play have swing to them, and they don't sound right after quantization. There is no option to turn off quantization. My favorite beats so far have been made by setting the steps-per-bar to 12 (triplets). This can give beats a swing-like feel. Of course, if you use an external sequencer (the JD-Xi makes a great 4-part sound module), you can swing all you want. This is my first Roland instrument, and I have to say, I think the JD-Xi is destined to become a classic (like my MicroKorg). If you do your research and like what you see in the demos, I think you'll be very happy with it.

[Tracks: 4] This synthesizer is like having four, good monosynths. However, it's not limited to monophonic play. You can play it polyphonically, or sequence it monophonically by stealing a voice from one of the other three tracks. Plus when you use parameter locking, which is one of the Elektron super powers, the multitimbrality increases from four to a seemingly unlimited number of voices. The other amazing ability of this device is the fact that you can keep your sequencer running, and at the same time edit sounds, edit the sequences... well, everything. It's not like working with a computer where you have the constant start and stop while you make changes to your composition.

[1000 mA] I have been using Roland synthesizer since the 1980s. I am a hard to convince consumer when it comes to analog modeling and this one is probably some of the best I've heard from Roland. The ability to stack all of your different synthesizer models on top of one another is amazing. it's very convincing and is just gorgeous sounding. The keyboard feels good and the flow is incredible with all of the polyphony it sounds huge!

[4.9 lb / 2.2 kg] The Minilogue is a really fun to use synthesizer, with an immediate interface to tweak and a great sound, while also affordable. At first I wasn't so sure about its sound, but had a test drive and it really impressed me (all 3 times in consecutive days). Even as an affordable synth, it has its own thing and can sound amazing. Been using it mostly for pad and keyboard(ish) bell sounds, and it is great at it. Throw in an external delay pedal and you're good for days. Sound-wise, it doesn't have the aggressively low end you find on other synths, but it is very good at mid-range. I love the filter tonality, and while not the most versatile beast, it is certainly capable of doing some impressive things. The hardware is also very well made for what you pay... good metallic plate on top, mini-keys that are way better than traditional ones, all necessary tools for customizing simple and complex sounds (although limited in terms of modulations), nice knobs and switches, ideal size (love this small footprint). There's a single thing I don't enjoy much: the pitch bend lever. I'd rather have a single modulation one... this aside, an amazing little synth.
