A: It has both a 1/4 20 threaded hole and a 3/8th 16 threaded hole. we recommend using a reducer bushing in the 3/8" 16 threaded hole because it centered and the 1/4" 20 threaded hole is not (it is there to provide extra stability and prevent rotation).

A: Yes, but you'll need to swap screws on the 700rc2 plate. I believe the axler comes with a spare. I own a few they work great, just gotta be careful with placement as the tighten knob cuts a little close for comfort.
