[2.3 lb] Pro Co has been in the business for years, and they are known among professionals as a top-quality brand. You cannot beat the price on the Stagemaster line of microphone cables. The cable itself is very sturdy, with a tough rubber casing. It is very quiet while handling. The plugs are solid metal with an adjustable strain relief and very positive locking feature to keep you plugged in. The soldering/assembly is a work of art. Unlike all other contenders in this price range (with overmolded plugs), StageMaster cables can be disassembled, repaired and maintained should they ever fail--and failure has yet to happen on any I've used for years. Do not believe any BS about oxygen-free copper and gold-plated contacts on the $40 cables. It's all hooey. Buy one of these and you will wonder why you ever wasted money on any other cable. The only improvement possible with the StageMaster line would be to give them away free--which is almost the case. I'm a pro musician and sound engineer, and have used lots of brands for more than 30 years. These are outstanding cables.

[2.3 lb] I have always purchased ProCo cable for both studio and field and I have to say they build great cables that last and can really take abuse unlike others. Sure there is Monster that many push but if you ask me there is no comparison, the ProCo build quality of the cable and connectors is better. The company seems to really care about how they build their cables plus they are made in USA that to me is always nice to see. I also like they are now made with the new Black Neutrik connectors, overall great cable.

[12 AWG] This cable has nice solid connectors that are very durable. we have been using them for a while now and they have been holding up nicely. They are cheaper than our other cables, but we can't tell the difference, they don't feel any less durable.

[12 AWG] Thin and flexible cable with road-worthy jacket. The mini-DINs can take the same abuse as XLRs. Pro Co has always made the best no-BS cables; pro stage quality all the way!
