The fully featured Sachtler LCD Monitor Bag 4.5-7 Inchfrom Sachtler LCD Monitor Bag 4.5-7 Inchis designed to function as a monitor shade/hood, screen protector, and storage bag for your monitor with related accessories. For improved viewing, the envelope style, four-sided hood reduces monitor glare and reflections. An easy-access, front panel shield made of clear polyurethane is designed to protect your monitor from the elements.

Bottom docking slots provide access for connecting the monitor to your camera's mounting hardware. The bag features a zippered top vent for attaching a wireless antenna, and a rear vent for connecting a power cable. For storage, the bag has a rear zippered pocket for a battery or mounting arm, and a rear pouch for small accessories. On either side of the bag is a D-ring for attaching the padded shoulder strap.

Q: 2. can i use this bag as carry on luggage in the plane?

A: My team travels extensively with this bag. It fits in MOST overhead bins and we've only been asked to check it on plans where the overhead is tiny (fits only briefcases - small Embraer and CJ planes). We have never been stopped at the gate and it does fit snugly in the sizer. NOTE: sometimes, the top handles have to be parted to fit into the overhead and in some configs, it has to be placed sideways because the bins are shallow (the front couple of bins on older 737).

The Sachtler Bag has more dividers on the inside and interior lighting. The Arco has more exterior pockets and the option to remove the interior insert.

A: Yes it does. It's a great bag but with a complete C100 Mk II it has limited room for items. I can get 2 additional lenses and a SmallHd 501comfortably.

A: No, the Sachtler Dr. Bag - 5 does not offer wheels of any kind.

Q: 7. Besides the Sachtler trolley system attachment, does this have a pass-thru slot for a rolling bag handle? Thanks.

A: Unfortunately, the Sachtler Dr. Bags do not have a pass-through slot for a rolling bag handle.

Q: 8. Anyone have this bag for an FX6 with a shoulder mount? Does it fit the height? I know the internal dims quoted are 20cm but this seems low seeing the external dims are 38.5mm.

A: While it will depend on both the size of your shoulder mount and how much room is left in the main compartment with everything else you have in it, as long as you remove (and put to the side of the camera) the top handle for the Sony FX6 Full-Frame Cinema Camera (Body Only) (B&H# SOFX6) you have a very good chance of not exceeding the internal height limit of the Sachtler Dr. Bag - 4 (B&H# SADRB4).

A: It will depend on how you have it rigged. The internal dimensions are: 25.6 x 11.0 x 12.4

[1.96 lb] This bag is a good fit for my DSLR Shoulder Rig. I put everything together before arriving on set including the mattebox. Without the mattebox mounted I can add my sound bag and an LED panel. I love the built in LED light to help when digging through the bag in darker environments. 5

[1.96 lb] These are really great bags. I own the Dr-3 and Dr-4 for my PMW-200 and my tricked out FS700. I ordered the Dr-1 for my FS5 hoping for a good fit but it was truly too small. I returned it to B&H. Bring back the Dr-2 and I think we'll have the perfect bag for the SONY FS5. Though the Dr-1 it is not the right bag for the FS5 it deserves 5 stars. 5

[Zipper] I've been using this bag for extensive air travel around the US, as my carry-on, and now I can't imagine traveling with anything else! Its protective hard shell goes all the way around (including the top), so when I have to gate check on smaller flights I'm never worried about anything breaking, even when the bag is thrown around or crushed under other bags. The downside of this bag is the rigid shell makes it harder to squeeze into carry-on compartments, but that slight struggle makes the main feature (see below) worth it. Basically, you get 2x the bag when you get to your location. When you unzip the top, the sides of the bag go straight up (like a traditional doctor bag would), allowing you to easy access to the gear inside. The bonus is that by leaving the sides unzipped while you carry it throughout your production, you can fit a lot more gear on top. The bag essentially becomes a more versatile tall bag that can carry much more than it can when zipped up. I leave mine unzipped during the week-long productions and fit a small gimbal, audio gear in small pouches, lenses wrapped in neoprene, and whatever camera we're using at the time, plus a bunch of knickknacks and even a monopod or tripod sticking out. Highly recommended bag! If you want to make it even better, the Tom Bihn Absolute Shoulder Strap makes this bag comfortable to carry even with 40lbs of gear in it. 5

[Zipper] I am using this bag as a carry on for international flying. It carries all of my more expensive digital cinema camera gear that doesn't fit into my backpack. Sachtler pretty much doesn't put their name on lousy products and this one is no exception. Nicely built, well engineered, the standout features are that once you arrive on location and are working out of it, you can unzip it and gain another 8 of height so it can hold a lot of production gear. The other notable feature is the orange interior and the integrated LED light strip. Since most production gear seems to be black or gray, piling a lot of it in a black lined bag makes it difficult to find what you need quickly. The LED strip light inside is really a smart feature. That said, I own and use PortaBrace, Cinebags and Domke cases and this one is right up there with the best of them. For carrying my camera, lenses and laptop, I prefer the Tom Bihn Brain Bag but for everything else that makes the camera work, a couple of gimbals, mics, cables, LED panels, this bag is really quite nice. Highly recommend you ditch the included shoulder strap and spend the extra $30.00 for the Tom Bihn Absolute Shoulder Strap, it is the best, most comfortable and slip resistant shoulder strap on the market and makes carrying this bag, even loaded up with 30-40lbs of gear, a joy. The Sachtler Dr. Bag 3 is a great bag, B&H had it in stock and got it to me in time for a big trip. Thumbs up. 5
