Q: 9. Does this work with A7siii?

Q: 10. is there a way to run this with a normal quick charge power bank?

A: ive had success with both Xtpower banks off amazon. You will need a 2.5mm to 2.1mm adapter and add some copper in the center connector. The two indipro battery cables i ordered, the inner connector was deeper then the adapters and xtpower banks so it wasnt a solid connection and only worked sometimes. The copper fixed it and made it reliable. Worked great. ran the A7sII through hdmi for a live feed off a 20,000 milamp xtpower battery for 4hours and battery showed 73% left.

[0.15 lb] I chose the PTSA7 following failures of several other A7s power adaptors from other manufacturers. The IndiPro adaptor was well made, and so far has worked just fine.Recomended.

[18] This cable is fantastic for builds that involve a monitor/recorder that takes L-Series batteries, but that also could benefit from USB. For example on my Sony rigs, I use the USB option to passively charge the camera at the same time. Very convenient.

[0.15 lb] This dummy battery lets me power my A7rII all day on my Switronix v-mount battery. Fits perfectly in the battery compartment and the cable fits the the little battery door window which is designed specifically for that purpose. You can also just remove the battery door if you find it restricting. The camera doesn't need it on to power up. Price is better than some alternatives. Probably still a bit more than it should be though.

[0.15 lb] For a product like this, it either works or it doesn't. In this case, it's powering my a7s from a switronix powerbase 70 perfectly. The connections all seem solid and not too tight. Overall, good product!

[24" / 61 cm] Just received this item! I have a Sony a7s and the battery is just awful. I bought this to use an external battery with it. I bought an external 10,000mAh battery by XTPower. I did have to purchase a different DC adapter but when it arrived it plugged right in with power. The power converter in the middle of this dummy battery wire says 7.4v and the standard Sony battery says 7.2v I don't know if that's an issue but it works fine. The battery doesn't show full charge and it keeps coughing down, inaccurately. I have a feeling it will run to zero on the camera but continue to run. The quality of the wire seems solid. The dummy battery is weightless and feels cheap. Hope this helps someone!
