Add more accessories to your camera with the LanParte C-Arm Equipmentfrom Lanparte. By arching over the top of your camera setup, the C-Arm effectively provides a second set of 15mm rods for attaching useful gadgets such as follow focus motors, articulating arms, recorders, monitors, and more. An integrated shoe-mount can hold a light, a microphone, or other accessory. The top portion folds away from the camera for easier lens changes. To accommodate different camera heights, the top rod section is adjustable to achieve the proper rod-to-optical-center distance.

Q: 1. Can this work with a 24-70 canon 2.8 II or a canon 50mm cne?

A: The Lanparte Professional Kit V2B can handle those lenses without a problem. It can handle most any lens you can throw at it.

Q: 2. Is the VCT-14 plate included in this kit?

A: No it does not come with VCT-14 plate.

Q: 3. How many inches wide is the platform bed ?

A: The platform bed measures 12.5" wide.

Q: 4. Can I choose to receive a different dummy battery pack that works with a GH4?

A: The kit comes with an E6 dummy battery in the box and can't be swapped. LanParte has one for GH4, but you'll have to talk to B&H sales about having the one for GH4 instead.

Q: 5. Hi, I wonder if this rig works fully with a Nikon D810 camera. I have the 14-24 2.8 the 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 lenses. Can these lenses be used on this rig provided the D810 works ok here? Can some one shed some light into the battery pack shown? How does that work? is it usable for the Nikon? Sorry for silly questions but I'm just starting on cine. Thank you.

A: Carlos, as I used to say when I was in the movie business, Everyone has a first day on set. This rig will be great for your fine Nikon package. The camera can be mounted and the lenses supported if required. I would suggest you call or email us to order this kit and request the substitution of the battery coupler from the Canon battery to the Nikon battery type. See below. The big battery will not only power the camera, but the monitor and an external recorder if you get one. There are power outputs for every popular type of connection and voltage.

Q: 6. Will the black magic pocket 4k work on this rig?

A: You can use the Canon 1D C with the Lanparte Professional Kit V2B. The L bracket that comes over the camera, it's height is adjustable so that any DSLR can fit.

Q: 8. What is the total weight of this unit fully assembled? Also, is there a compatible A/B mount adaptor for the V Mount battery plate?

A: Our guesstimate would say the rig as shown would be in the neighborhood of 23-26lbs/10-11kg. Q: 9. It the rail compatible with NATO accessories?

A: No, there is not NATO rail on the LanParte EVF Extension Arm for Sony PXW-FS5.

Q: 10. Will this rig work with a BlackMagic URSA mini 4.6k Pro? How about the new Panasonic AU-EVA1?

A: No, this will not work with either of those cameras for this is for much smaller DSLR cameras. For the BMD URSA Mini Pro we suggest this: SHAPE Blackmagic URSA Mini Kit with Matte Box & Follow Focus Pro B&H # SHURSAKIT. It has yet to be tested but this SHAPE rig probably will work with the AU-EVA1 as well.

[19 oz (540 g)] I came from the era of the Canon XL1. Remember that camera? If not, look up a picture. A lot was said about that funky fold-out chest pad, but I loved it. It was a thoughtful, ergonomic solution for a camera that could be used handheld, but didn't have enough back-weight to justify a full pad balanced on your shoulder. I don't know why more prosumer or compact cinema cameras didn't implement a similar solution. Anyway, the LanParte Chest Pad... it's awesome. I own two of them. I have a very compact Canon R5C setup and I like to shoot handheld, but I don't like to do the mid-body baby-tuck hold. I'm also not stable enough to just hold the rig by the camera grip and an added left-side handle. This allows me to have the magic 3 points of contact for more stable handheld shooting. It does put a little more weigh forward of your body, so you have to allow for that and rest when possible... keep that in mind. Also, since I like to keep the rig as close to my body as possible, I replaced the included 8 aluminum rod with a 6 carbon fiber rod to move it closer in, and help a little with weight. This is not a replacement for a shoulder pad setup, it is an alternative setup for handheld work. Know what you're getting this pad for, and I think you'll like it. Highly recommended. 5

[19 oz (540 g)] Build quality is nice and it holds the FS5 monitor in a variety of positions. The only issue is that there is no offset at the point where it mounts, and depending on where you position the arm it may rub against the FS5 top handle and bow outward slightly. Its not really an issue, so I'm not taking any stars off for this. 5

[19 oz (540 g)] I am using this cable clamp on a well-rigged cinema camera. It is being used to clamp two I/O mating cables from the camera to a secondary rig that contains the multitrack digital audio recorder and a video monitor. The clamp is well built and functions well. It can hold two cables about the size of SDI or balanced audio. The only minor con is that the spring-loaded clamp end only works best if both cables are the same diameter. So if you were planning on using it to clamp an SDI and a mini-mic cable, you may have issues. 5

[1/4", 3/8"] If you've invested in the Blackmagic shoulder mount kit for the Ursa Mini series, 99% of you have suffered the same severe arm-cramp as you make the shape of the Jim Carrey claw, grasping at the already deeply unergonomic handle. After the exasperation of spending all that money you probably have now decided to either sell the camera as being way too uncomfortable to use, or looked for a fix. Well, here it is. The shape looks completely alien to the rigid angles of the Ursa Mini but it's light, strong and extends as far as anyone could possibly need it to. It also has the built-in LANC cable so you can use the handle's (admittedly awful) buttons. The full LanParte kit is ridiculously expensive, but this extension arm is a much needed piece of common sense that will make your Ursa Mini a completely different beast physically to use. Now the search begins for a grip actually designed for a human hand... 5
