This FotodioX WonderPana Core Kit for Canon 14mm Lensfrom FotodioX WonderPana Core Kit for Canon 14mm Lensincludes a WonderPana Absolute Core Unit designed to specifically fit the Canon EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM lens. Also provided are several accessories to enable the use of various separately-available items. These items include both filter holders and filters for the Cokin X-Pro and FotodioX Pro 130mm filter systems, 145mm FotodioX round filters, and a LEE SW-150 filter holder.

The kit contains a WonderPana Absolute 150mm filter holder adapter ring for the Lee SW-150 filter system, a 130mm WonderPana Absolute filter holder adapter ring and a filter holder for both the Cokin X-Pro and FotodioX Pro 130mm filter systems, a 145mm WonderPana Absolute filter adapter ring for 145mm FotodioX round filters, a lens-dedicated retention ring, plus a 145mm inner-pinch lens cap for 145mm FotodioX round filters.

Each individual adapter ring attaches directly to the lens-dedicated retention ring and will not interfere with the Canon EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM lens's zoom capability. The adapter ring for a Lee SW-150 filter holder, as well as the adapter ring for the Cokin X-Pro and FotodioX Pro 130mm filter holders, securely connect to their compatible filter holders. They each allow for a filter holder's free rotation around the lens to complement the use of LEE SW-150, Cokin X-Pro, or FotodioX Pro 130mm graduated neutral density or other filters that are enhanced by varied positioning. Compatible filters can be screwed into the filter adapter ring for 145mm FotodioX round filters. Each adapter ring is designed to help avoid any vignetting. The retention ring and adapter rings within this kit are constructed using aluminum-alloy for durability while remaining lightweight.

The FotodioX Pro 130mm Filter Holder is designed to accommodate multiple Cokin X-Pro series or FotodioX Pro 130mm filters in order to help create the shot you envision. In its standard front-facing position, it can hold up to two rectangular filters for the Cokin X-Pro series or FotodioX Pro 130mm filter holders. Two adjustable, rear-facing brass tension knobs allow the FotodioX Pro 130mm Filter Holder to be rotated or locked into place while installed on a compatible adapter ring and facing front. To further avoid vignetting when needed, the filter holder can be placed in a reverse-facing position where it cannot rotate, but can hold one Cokin X-Pro series or one FotodioX Pro 130mm filter closer to the front of a lens it is used with.

Rectangular Cokin X-Pro series or FotodioX Pro 130mm filters are 130mm-wide and 2.9mm-thick. A FotodioX Pro 130mm filter holder adapter ring or Cokin X-Pro series filter holder adapter ring can be used to connect this plastic filter holder to the front of a lens.

The FotodioX 145mm Center-Pinch Snap-On Lens Cap for Select WonderPana Systems and Filters is a 145mm front lens cap with a squeeze, spring, and snap-on mechanism. It is easy to install as well as remove, and can attach to a WonderPana 145, FreeArc, or Absolute filter holder system in order to protect the front element of a lens that any one of those systems are mounted on. Additionally, this lens cap can be used to protect a non-slim FotodioX WonderPana 145 filter that is mounted on a FotodioX WonderPana 145, FreeArc, or Absolute filter holder system and has no other filters placed in front of it.

Lens caps protect your lens or filter from scratches, fingerprints, and the elements when the lens or filter is not in use.

[1.2 lb] Having a crop sensor camera, using the Rokinon 14mm is great for waterfall photos since I can get real close to my subject. However, not having a polarizer, the photos were never as good as I wanted them. Now I can get remove the glare and really start to enjoy the lens. Just remember, if you use this filter to darken a blue sky on a 14mm lens without clouds, the sky will look terrible but this is not what this polarizer and lens combo is for. 5

[1.2 lb] I do architectural work and before finding about WonderPana, I seldom used my wide angle lenses such as the Sigma 12-24. Now, they are integral part of my main lens kit. Being able to put a polarizer or a ND filter in front of the lens has changed my options dramatically. It is indeed a wonderful accessory. 5

[1.2 lb] This is a great solution for polarizing a 14-24 bulb lens. I have used it and it makes a great difference in folliage and water in landscapes. It is quite large but necessarily so to cover the lens. 5

[1.2 lb] This thing is excellent, just beware of the small brass screws on the filter ring.They are not firmly tightened.I took them out and used some Locktite on the threads so they want be loose any more.And sadly ,the filter pouch is to small for the holder with filter mounted. 5

Used shooting through water/window/glass panes (store fronts, various display cabinets, aquarium tank glass, Recreation Vehicle windscreens, airplane windows, etc..) and to remove reflections from polished stone surfaces (Marble, Granite, Tile, and China). 5

[7.6 x 7.1 x 3"] 145mm is a large expanse of glass and I was somewhat concerned about the optical quality of such a large filter. My concerns were without foundation though as this filter creates tack sharp images with or without polarization. Well worth the money. Easy to attach to the FotodioX Kit for the 14-24mm Nikon lens... a welcome addition to my bag. 5
