The black Altman Spectra Strip 200W 6000K LED Lightfrom Altman Spectra Strip 200W 6000K LED Lightis a low-profile LED linear wash luminaire comprised of four 50W 6000K light engines. Each cell can be individually filtered, lensed or diffused using the filter slots provided. White light is suitable for no color wash applications, as well as tinting the RGBA light engines in a blended wash or use with traditional color media. The Spectra Strip is suitable for both floor and pipe mounted applications and is an LED replacement for traditional theatrical strip lights, foot lights, and border lights.

A: The MFR has not tested the light in that setup. Your results may vary.

A: Yes, that is correct. The Genaray SSL-36 Soft Strip Daylight LED Light (4 x 36") has a flimsy soft case, and the SSL-36B and above have a shell case.

Q: 5. I need to have an LED light strip like this "on-set" entirely in the frame. Will there be any flickering that will be visible?

A: The amaran SM5c LED Light Strip (16.4', Multicolor), BH #AMSM5C, may exhibit some flickering depending upon the recording frame rate.

Q: 6. is there a fan in this unit?

A: The light uses a passive cooling system. No fan.

Q: 7. Can multiple strips be synced together in Sidus App to perform the same effects simultaneously?

A: The amaran SM5c LED Light Strip (16.4', Multicolor), BH # AMSM5C, can be extended to a length up to 32.8' (extension available separately). Open the Sidus Link APP to add the strip light. After the connection is successful, the strip light can be controlled.

Q: 8. I would like to mount this to a wall - cant tell if that is possible based on the photo?

A: The design of this light and most like this, hang from the ceiling. They can get to hot and next to a wall. And the mount is not made for wall attachment but for hanging as well.

Q: 9. Can we use another softbox for this light? No matter the brand. Just to know if we can put others softboxes.

[6000K] I use this stand for mounting a video projector & it works very well. compact footprint, solidly built and at a great price. Would also work for smaller powered speakers, lighting, etc. You'd need to modify the top of the pole to pop a speaker on it, but totally do able. 5

[6000K] These stands are such workhorses, you can't buy 'em used because every rental house continues to send them out constantly. It was great to get these all shiny and pretty and new, which I've never had the opportunity to see in all my years LOL! Great for theater lighting in small venues or tucked-in-the-corner additional positions. I love 'em :) 5

[6000K] This Altman light is really good quality, but everyone knows Altman makes good stuff, anyway. With a 500 watt bulb and a set of barn doors I am able to light a stage for video and spot the presenter with really good separation of the spot from the on-stage video projector screen. It is a Fresnel so the spot isn't clearly defined on the edges like an ellipsoidal, but if you need to isolate a spot this will do it. The barn doors on front make it that much easier. In wide flood mode it produces a nice, even spread - kind of like a Par 64 can. 5

[6000K] This is my 2ND purchase of this stand and base. I use it for a projector for monograms. The base is heavy enough that it hasn't ever been knocked over. Try to buy this item with as much advance notice so you don't have to pay much for shipping! 5
