A: The Movcam 206-0003-7 15mm Carbon Fiber Rod (8") has M12 thread with a 1.75 pitch.

A: They should match, but we have not performed this specific test and have no means to do so as these are part of a "special order" item, which means that the product drop ships directly from manufacturer.

A: The item you are asking about is just the piece that fits on the rods. This piece is for 15mm rods and will fit the edelkrone pocket rig without issue. You then can attach the Landparte follow-focus to it and off you go.

A: The thread is M12x1.75 and is compatible with Chrosziel rods.

A: Yes, this 15mm rod will work with not only the Zacuto VCT Universal Baseplate, it will be compatible with any 15mm LWS system.

Q: 10. How much weight can this support?

A: I use mine to connect to a counterweight for balance on a camera rig -- around five pounds. The clamp seems fairly sturdy and could probably handle even more weight (within reason).

[0.85 lb] This part is well machined and is good for attaching accessories. I use it to hold a 7 monitor on top of a mini ball head. If you are very heavy handed I could see eventually stripping the threads on tightening but if you don't get crazy with it you should be fine. It's worth the money. 5

[0.85 lb] I have a Blackmagic URSA mini and needed a way to hold the shoulder rig in place. This works. If you know how the camera is set up, the handles work well to put the camera on a flat surface. Throw it on a tripod...ad on the shoulder - very quick. Build is good, grip is comfortable, feels like it will last a while. i like it 5

[Dual Handgrips] I'll use this with Lanparte Double 15mm Rod Clamp with 1/4 Screw and a Sachtler Ace Baseplate. Rods are sturdy and don't flex under the loads I put on it. 5

[0.85 lb] I'll use this with Lanparte Extendable 15mm Aluminum Rod (Pair, 11.8) and a Sachtler Ace Baseplate. The rod clamp will serve several purposes like another attachment point, protect body parts and clothing from the ends of the rods, and act as a hard stop for the Sachtler Ace Baseplate (just in case I forget to tighten the baseplate; don't want thing sliding off the end). 5

[Dual Handgrips] So far I am liking this shoulder and grip mount a lot. I bought a remote zoom control to mount on 1 grip handle and also a double rod clamp to mount a lead weight for counter balance after reading reviews. Using a Cannon XA-20. 5

[0.85 lb] Originally purchased some cheaper grips for my rig, had to return them because there was too much play in them, even when fully locked down. These have no play at all and are built to last. 5
