[2.1 kHz] I read the specs from Mackie so I figured that these speakers would work for what I tend to do sound reinforcement for. �The handle placement is ideal, especially when placing them on speaker stands and the sound coming out them filled a 75 by 100 ft meeting room nicely with very clean audio. �Yes I would recommend this product to a friend 5

[Plastic] I run a system in my church and currently own 6 of this speakers. 2 are elevated main for Highs and mid on 2000 watt amps and a driverack. The other 4 are stage monitors 2 on 1000 w amps and 2 on 2000 watt amps all the ones that are use for monitors are running in full range. They have awesome High and mid, and for the size the low is not bad at all. Great response when used with a drive rack or crossover. Really light and really heavy duty. Would recommend to anyone. 5

[26 x 18 x 17"] I have used these for several years, and have been listening to various pairs for over 10 years. Last I knew the first pair I heard were still on the road. The enclosure is very well designed and extremely easy to carry. Electro-Voice designed the carry handle based on suitcase handle research, and they are the easiest to carry speakers I have ever encountered. I can carry one in each hand with ease. As to sound quality, these speakers are so accurate that some people don't know what to think at first. I have never found a full range cabinet that had a clearer or more accurate sound. Having installed these in various buildings, and traveling with my own pair of SX300E's I have found these speakers to be so versatile and reliable, that I rarely if ever use an EQ even in installations. These are a bargain at any price, and a great addition to any system. 5

[38.6 lb] I've been a JBL person for many years, but I must say that putting this speaker next to my JBl JRX112M (the same speaker configuration), blew me away. I never thought JBL could be surpassed. I was wrong. This EV speaker did it. As a pro musician for many years, I rate this at the top 3 speakers in it's class, if not the top of the heap. I love the light weight for transporting, as I have to move my equipment 5 nights per week in Las Vegas. The sound reproduction is great. It actually put out more volume at the same mixer setting than the JBL. There are two things I would like to see changed. The handles should be on top (as the JBL), not on the sides. This will make the speaker easier to grab and load into a vehicle, instead of bending over and reaching for the handle on the side. Another change I would like to see, is that the cabinet would have both Speakon and 1/4 inputs, as some mixers don't have Speakon outputs, therefore requiring you to buy an adaptor. The JBL has both Speakon and 1/4 inputs. Otherwise, this speaker is an excellent choice... 5

[26 x 18 x 17"] Best speaker cover on the market In my opinion. It's worth the money. Fits Yamaha speaker to the T. If you are buying it for another speaker match it up to the Yamaha speaker measurements. 5
