The port fits onto an Ikelite underwater mirrorless camera housing with a DLM mount.

The 6" dome corrects for the underwater size distortion that makes everything appear 25% larger and closer, thus helping to restore the original wide angle of view of the lens. Built to resist corrosion, the American-made port has a front element made from acrylic and a body crafted from Delrin acetyl resin.

A: The question is not clear but...this will fit on the iIkelite housings tht have a fixed, flat port. check the Ikelite web site for full info. I was unimpressed with it since it vignettes my Nikon P7700.

Q: 3. so this can't be used with over/under water photos or video since it has water between dome and camera lens, correct? if so, is there a housing/dome for the rx100iv that would work for over/under water video?

A: When lifted up to split the water line, the water will start to drain out which can result in a line across the frame. We do not offer a dome port that will replace the flat port at this time.

A: No, the following port is made and designed for the following lenses. Canon 8-15mm f/4, 18-55mm f/3.5, 24-70mm f/2.8, 24-105mm f/3.5 & 35mm f/1.4; Nikon 8-15mm f/3.5, 10-24mm f/3.5, 18-55mm f/3.5 & 18-105mm f/3.5; and Sigma 8-16mm f/4, 18-35mm f/1.8 & 50mm f/1.4

A: Everything underwater looks 25% larger and closer to our eyes and any lens with a flat element or port. Your camera's built-in lens will have the same angle of view underwater as it does on land with the Ikelite WD-4 Wide-Angle Conversion Dome Port. The Ikelite W-30 Underwater Wide-Angle Conversion Lens turns the lens built into you camera into a lens with a 40% larger angle of view. You do get more distortion with the W-30 and the edge of the image will be sharper with the WD-4.

A: Sorry, your lens is not listed as being compatible.

Q: 8. Can you tell me the dimensions of the cover? I'm trying to figure out whether it will fit over my port including flip diopter holder.

A: The Ikelite Neoprene Cover 0200.1 is 5.5 across and is 1.25 deep. There is a draw string to tighten the cover.

A: Yes. It will be paired with an extension to accommodate the 17-40. The extension will depend on which camera system you are using. At the bottom of each model's page you'll find a port chart. Or just let us know and we can advise the correct parts.

Q: 10. Does it fit the Leica Super-Elmar-M 18mm f/3.8 ASPH?

A: The Leica Super-Elmar-M 18mm f/3.8 ASPH had it's own cap B&H # LELCH2414SM, LEICA's # 14480 but has been discontinued. The Leica #14212 cap you are inquiring about may be too small for this lens.

[0.92 lb] Like the specifications said, the dome simply slides onto the Ikelite port. Easy to use and of course great that it is a wet lens as it gives more flexibility. Best to add a bit of silicone gel on the rubber rim on the inside of the dome to make taking on/off an easier affair. There are two air-holes on the dome but not all air bubbles escape this way so it was a bit of a pain to open it, let the bubbles out and put it back on again. It may seem like a small matter as it only takes 30 seconds at the beginning of the dive to adjust this but if it is a whale shark dive then the 30 seconds feel way too long! You will also need to zoom in with the camera just a little to get rid of the dome sticking out at the sides but even with the zoom-in, it is still very wide. Corners are crisp and my pictures have been great. All in all, a great product, highly recommended. 5

[DLM] Just tested it out in my pool using my Sony RX100 111. Works great and get a sharp wide angle image with no vignetting around the edges..Cant wait to try it out underwater 5

[0.92 lb] I just received this port. I used it on two 60 ft reef drift dives in West Palm Beach. The port was mounted to my Ikelite housing and it worked great. I’m looking forward to many more dives with this port. Cozumel in March! 5
