A: There are no hard specifications regarding decibel level. As expected, it emits a fairly loud high-pitched whine while operating.

A: The replacement bag is DV-5PBRP which are the filter bags.

A: This twin- triode tube is made in the Slovak Republic, and is also known as the 6922, which can be used as replacement valve for the Rode NTK microphone.

Q: 8. is this a low noise tube ?

A: I believe it is. I changed out the tube in my preamp before even using it. It is the Telefunken equivalent to a 12AX7 which is a industry standard preamp tube. Telefunken has been in the high end audio tube business for many many years. I just believe this is the best preamp tube available. The tube i had pulled out was supposedly a selected Chinese 12AX7. Although I do not have the measuring equipment to measure any differences, I am completely satisfied with the ECC83.

[0.3 oz / 8.5 g] I used these tubes as replacements in my TL Audio PA-2 Preamp/DI and the difference in sound was huge. More defined and musical. So far used for drum overheads with KM184s and Bass DI and I was very happy with the results. I was surprised there was such a noticeable difference. 5

[0.3 oz / 8.5 g] If you have an audio system that is capable of displaying the difference, these are much above the $19 version of this tube. I have a Magnum Dynalab MD809t internet tuner that features a 4-tube push-pull output which came equipped with the lesser-costing version of this tube; after replacing them with the Black Diamond series I hear a distinct difference in audio quality. It's nice to get back to the warmth and depth of sound that distinguishes tubes from transistors. With these Black Diamonds there is no tube hiss or hint of distortion -- it's vintage wine for the ears! 5

[12.5 mA/V] I have a Rode K2 for vocals and the stock electro-harmonix tube is a little bit too sharp in the highs, but this new production TF 6922 sounds great after having some burn-in time. After just 8 hours or so it sounds great, 20+ hours it sounds awesome. Not quite the same warmth as some NOS tubes that I've used, but excellent clarity and smoother top end, and importantly, super low noise. Especially at this price, it's a great choice for the K2 and I'm sure it would sound great in the NTK as well. 5

[9] I bought it for my Schiit Vali 2+, I find this sound very close to Siemens E88CC where it's a very balanced tube across the range with punchy bass. Most tubes I come across are somewhat soft in their bass presentation (i.e. Tesla E88CC). This tube also has decent sound stage and separation. However the only con I would say is that this tube in general has more of a solid state kind of sound signature as oppose to tube sound. Though it could also be Schiit Vali+ own signature influence over it, I'm not too sure. But overall a very nice tube for the price, highly recommend! The other con that's not really a con is that, the box it came with has a drawing that looks a bit like a condom. I guess it's carried over from the 1970s or something like that. Just thought it's a bit hilarious. 5
