[0.65 lb] I always wondered how to get that creamy effect in a waterfall picture, and this was the answer. Coupled with a good tripod, I can now get some excellent waterfall pictures.

[0.65 lb] I have used this filter for my work for two years and it is perfect. I can use it in my Cokin Z-holder but more often than not just hand hold it. It can easily be combined with a CPL or other ND filter to achieve 4-extra stops which help with waterfalls on sunny days, softening clouds, getting a soft ethereal texture from crashing waves and streams. The nice thing about it is that unlike using very high density screw on ND filters which might make it very difficult to see and focus, especially when using slow f/5.6 lens, you can compose, focus, then use the AF button to lock focus, hold the filter over the lens or other filter, then exposure and click. Very simple and effective. I use this filter a lot. I used to own the extremely expensive SR vari-ND but I sold it for this one because 1) it vignettes at wide angles, 2) does not meter properly due to the physics of the design so you must take test shots and use an iterative approach 3) you can easily over dial in the density which results in a 'cross' in the center where the two polarizers meet. You can't see this effect in the viewfinder since it would be too dark but the result is obvious in the LCD screen. Bottom line, it is much faster to use this filter than a vari-ND and since a vari-ND vignettes at ultra wide angles you end up needing two sets of filters which is just a waste of money. I use this filter a lot along with about 10 other filters which I keep in my two filter pouches that include grad-NDs, CPL, and yes, a screw-on 3-stop ND. No color cast, fast and easy to use compared with any alternative, and very affordable.

[0.65 lb] I bought these because B&H struggles to keep the Lee soft edge set of NG filters in stock. Of course about a week after I took deliver of these filters I got a notification that the Lee filters were in stock. I used these filters in Mount Rainer last week and they worked well for me. What I don't like is the cheap plastic case that these filters come in. Buy I already owned a Lee filter holder so this wasn't a big deal for me. I didn't see any color bias unless I had a polarizer on the lens while using these filters.

[0.65 lb] The Formatt Hitech 85mm square kit was purchased to use when backpacking.  The filters are resin and seem lighter in weight and more robust  than glass filters.  I feel much more comfortable taking resin filters as glass seems a bit fragile.  They fit a Cokin P filter holder and come with a soft cloth protective pouch.  When they arrived, I shot a few images through them and found them quite acceptable.  They are now part of my backpacking photography kit.

[0.65 lb] As a an avid hobbyist on a budget, I felt this package would be a good compromise between quality and cost.  VERY pleased with the choice so far.  Product arrived in pristine condition - although I noted from a prior review from someone they received a flawed filter.  

Am still experimenting (in use with a Nisi V5 filter holder on a Nikon D750).  Excited about the effects - no perceived unnatural warmth or coolness in the tones.  Unfortunately, the photographer behind the camera still seems to be the weak link . . .

My only comment (not criticism) is to emphasize that these products are resin, not glass.  While you need to be painfully careful with any filters in terms of scratches, you need to be even more so with this softer substrate.  A good quality filter holder (e.g. Ruggard) is a must - not an option.  In short, as much as I like these, when (not if) they get scratched, I will likely replace them piecemeal with glass filters.  But these are the right place to start.

[0.65 lb] Not my first set and these are very good also. Color neutral and no noticeable deterioration of image. Only complaint is that they ship them dirty, covered with a greasy film. It took lense cleaner and an entire pack of cleaning papers to get them clean. Must do this before you get on the trail.

[0.65 lb] A great tool for sunrise/sunset. Haven't used them for anything else. High quality filters.
