A: The lamp voltage is regulated by the ballast. The ballast must be able to work on the voltage you need 110v or 230v.

A: In HMI all the voltage output is done in the ballast, if your ballast is multi voltage it will work worldwide.

A: For the Joker2 1600 and our Joker2 800 their is an alternate rear cap that will be available in about 8 weeks that will allow you to mount a Tungsten 2k or 1k lamp in the same socket as the daylight version. The igniter cap is removed by Two screws and un-clipped from the buglite head. You can the mount the alternate rear cap that has an on/off switch and plug so you may use the tungsten lamps. This allows you a 2k/1k Tungsten Par or buglite when you need it without having to carry an additional fixture. This is a very quick, simple swap of caps.

A: This head will work with our other 800w ballasts. this is only the bug head w/9' cable. It does not include a beaker or lamp, nor reflector (beamer). You would need to order the beakers and lamp separately. If you wish to have the entire kit the part number is K0800JB2 which includes the new wireless DMX ballast. We also offer the K0800JB2v1 which comes with the non DMX version of our ballast.
