The white FSR MM-CLCKAUD-WHT Table Microphone Mountis designed for mounting the Clock Audio C003 and C004 Low-Profile Boundary Microphone into a table. This table mount includes a bi-color LED and SPST Switch to add status and muting/control functions to the microphone installation. The unit easily mounts into a 2" diameter hole in 3/4" to 3" thick table surfaces and can be installed in a table, wall, or ceiling panel.

Q: 1. Does this come with a microphone cable?

A: it comes with a female xlr- male 1/4 . So basically the male 1/4 needs to go into the mixer end.

Q: 3. Is it working well (no noises on signal) with 48v phantom power? I need a simple talkback mic to a unit with 48v phantom power which is on while recording with a condenser mic.

A: It doesn't work with phantom power. It takes a 9v battery in the base and needs the battery in order to operate. There is an audible click/pop when the switch is pushed (the volume of which is moderate - neither particularly loud or soft).

Q: 4. What diameter is the hole? What diameter is the boom stem of the K&M 23850? 12mm? 15mm?

A: The manufacturer has not specified the diameter of the shaft of the 23855 Table Flange. K&M only states that it is designed to only be used with the 23850 and 23860 boom arms.

Q: 5. is the screw in the base also 1/4-20? I may want to attach a spotting scope to the base and not use the ball head. The scope is threaded for 1/4-20

A: It is 1/4-20, and it has a 3/8 thread adapter on it to fit the ball head.

Q: 6. Would my Elgato wave mic arm lp fit into this flange.. My Gator Frameworks comes with a flange for top surface mount?

A: No, the K&M 23855 Table Flange is designed specifically for use with microphone arm 23850.

Q: 7. would this work with Elgato Wave Mic Arm LP? Gator Frameworks has a flange for their boom arm. Open to suggestions.

A: The K&M 23855 Table Flange is designed specifically for use with the K&M 23850 Microphone Arm. It is not guaranteed for use with other arms from other brands.

Q: 8. How does the audix ats 10 terminate to mixer. Does it hardwire from platform then clean male to mixer/phantom power input?

A: It sports an XLR Male connector in the back. You can then connect it via any standard XLR cables into your mixer and if your mixer and yes, it will pass through phantom power.

Q: 9. My DSLR weights 1.62 lbs and my 24-70 lens weighs 2.15 lbs for a total of 3.77 lbs. While the tripod capacity is 6 lbs, the weight of my lens extends beyond the camera body by 4.5 inches, putting a strain on the ball head to stay in place and not droop. I am concerned about this unless I can be assured the ball head will support that much weight forward?

A: I have a canon 5D Mark3 + 24-70 2.8. Both on top of this table tripod and it works flawlessly. Just make sure that one of the legs is parallel to the lens or else it will tip over. I havent experience any droopings with my table tripod

Q: 10. How long the battery last, I need it for a busy restaurant!!

A: A single alkaline battery should supply hundreds of hours of actual use. Be sure NOT to leave the talk switch in the ON position.

Even though my Blue Yeti microphone comes with a deluxe, heavy black anodized aluminum stand, I like this one better. The Blue Yeti mic stand is tall, and the mic blocks too much of the view of my monitor. This stand, on the other hand, is the perfect height. The bottom of my microphone is barely 2 inches above the desk. It's amazingly simple to deploy, with three legs that feel like metal, maybe steel, I'm not sure. The little footpads grip the desk nicely. If you want to mount the mic directly to the 5/8 adapter like I did, you will need to purchase a right-angle mini USB adapter, because there's not enough clearance between the bottom of the mic and the stand for a conventional mini USB plug. 5

Its nice! Used it in my master bedroom over my mantel on my fire place. I could not mount to the stone so this was a great option from the ceiling. 5

Extremely easy to install. Instructions could be a little more clear for someone who isn’t quite as mechanically inclined. Very sturdy, looks good, and would definitely recommend. 5

This microphone base allows me to use my AKG C404 XLII in it's shock mount in a desktop configuration. I tried several different mini-tripods but none worked well. This was the perfect solution. 5

Easy to install, & great flexibility with viewing angles. Luckily my tv had the proper hardware for attaching to the unit, but they provide ample hardware, just in case. Ceiling amount worked great for positioning my pavilion tv out of the reach of any potential weather. 5

The Good thing I found it in this stand, is the on/off switch. You can turn on the condenser microphone silently without any noise. This feature is difficult to find it in any on/off switch in condenser microphone. 5
