The VocoPro Wireless Performer Vocal Speaker & Micfrom VocoPro Wireless Performer Vocal Speaker & Micis a compact-portable vocal speaker with a 100W RMS (200W max) amplifier and a UHF wireless handheld mic. It is designed for the daily grind of the traveling performer and can be used in small venues like coffee shops and small bars.

The UHF wireless handheld microphone adds to the dual purpose balanced and unbalanced XLR-1/4" combo jack. Connect a laptop or iPod to practice or sing-along with the 3.5mm and RCA auxiliary jacks. There are identical 3.5mm and RCA outputs, which allow you to connect to a larger house system. Additionally, the Wireless Performer weighs in at 25 pounds and the added built-in wheels and handle assembly ensure easy transport for the traveling performer.

Q: 1. Would this work using the sub1/2 output from my zoom f8 into the transmitter? I want to create a portable headphone feed from my mixer

A: Yes, it would. The sub1/2 output is a consumer line level output, which is identical to a headphone jack. The SilentPA transmitter has a 1/8 TRS input on the side of it, and you can plug the output into it. It is however, VERY hot and you'll have to have the volume knob on the transmitter all the way down. I set the sub 1/2 output to mic level to make it easier.

Q: 2. i have the hammond xk-5 system and looking for drum beats. Will this program with the xk-5 to start by pressing a key on the xk5 ? Also will it change tempo it you change playing tempo on the XK-5 ?

A: The Roland AIRA TR-8S Rhythm Performer is able to receive MIDI input data including MIDI Start and MIDI Stop, so it is likely that it can work as desired as long as the Hammond XK-5 - Heritage Series Hammond Organ can communicate over MIDI in this manner as well.

Q: 3. While I doubt it's audiophile level, what kind of audio quality can I expect? On par with a cordless phone, or is it more like a good wireless lavalier?

A: It is more like something that would be suitable for a non-critical use.

Q: 4. I will be in town (NYC store of B&H) this friday 3rd and saturday 4th of april. I would like to purchase this item in-store at that moment. But I see that is says special order, how would that work? I won't be in NYC or the USA any other days than those, and I'm really interested in purchasing this. A: The PreSonus Revelator USB microphone does require installing software drivers which can be downloaded after you have registered the Revelator online at presonus.com. PreSonus Studio One Artist software is also included which can be used as your DAW (digital audio workstation) if desired, and additional software plug-ins are provided as well.

[32 lb] Using for events and weddings interviews.After intensive testing and using on job I can say it is very good quality recording in noise environment. You can record peoples without noise background. Lowe price should not misguide you. 5

[32 lb] I bought the ve-20 based on the demo I saw on line using the theremin with the pitch correct .this was an alternative to using guitar peddles witch are not ideal and do not work very well with the theremin. this will enhance the sound of your theremin or theremini and has a loop station to boot. all for a very reasonable price.it compleats my set up. 5

[32 lb] Bought this mic to replace my aged Shure SM48s. It sounds better than the Shure, with more details in the mid and more open in the high. The switch is truly silent. Love it. Shure does a little better on handling noise isolation. 5

[32 lb] I am using this for speech in HAM radio transmissions. My shack' is hard-surfaced and I got reports about a tin-can sound. I went with the e845 because of the 'popular price' and supercardioid polar pattern useful to reduce this effect. It worked! Of course mic-to-mouth positioning becomes more important. The net result for me is that I am getting many favorable 'signal reports' from HAMs I speak with. Several have asked about the mic and have ordered one for themselves. BTW, this replaced a Shure SM7B, and the e845 has worked better for my application. Less EQ is needed to get a balanced sound for my voice (actually, no EQ at all is working). Specifically the e845 is plugged into a Kenwood TS-590SG HF transceiver. Very happy with the e845. 5
