The Blonder Tongue CATV Audio/Video Modulator Channel 68from Blonder Tongue CATV Audio/Video Modulator Channel 68is an all-solid-state audio/video modulator that provides a modulated visual and aural RF carrier output on one specific CATV channel. The unit modulates the audio and video inputs and provides the requested RF CATV channel output for use in a CATV, MATV or SMATV system. The modulator accepts standard (sync negative) polarity video at a 0.7-2.5V peak to peak level from sources such as a TV camera, video tape recorder, TV demodulator or satellite receiver.

The modulator features a +55dBmV RF output level, and an IF SAW filtering for adjacent channel operation. All aeronautical channels are offset positive with a tolerance of ±5kHz as required by FCC 21006. All level controls are located on the front panel. The RF level control provides up to +55dBmV output. The video modulator control sets the depth of modulation for 87.5% over an input video level range from 0.7VP/p to 2.5VP/p. An audio modulation control permits adjustment for ±25kHz peak deviation of the aural carrier.

[12 dBc] The transformer worked perfectly. The low frequency hum from the TV was gone once it was installed. Make sure to follow the installation guidelines on the website - especially trimming the center conductor on the CATV coax cables. NOTE: There were no instructions included with the shipment even though the label on the transformer box seemed to imply there would be. 5

[-7 dB to -20 dB] Had a 60 cycle hum in my audio/video system and narrowed It down to the Blu-Ray player and cable box were causing a ground loop. Installed the Jensen ISO-Max VRD-1FF on the cable line before the box and it worked - no more hum. Much thanks to Jensen and B&H. 5

[F-type female] We got a new cable box for the home theatre and with it a ground loop hum. This filter worked perfectly to get rid of the hum and did not interfere with the digital cable programming 5

[12 dBc] This is the second VRD-1FF I've bought. The first one lasted 9 years, but this spring our house was hit by lightning. The old VRD-1FF started adding 6dB signal loss, so I figured the lightning hurt it. Just like the original, the new VRD-1FF has eliminated the ground loop hum that was on our incoming CATV Cable 5

[F-type female] I have Denon & Atmos speaker setup, cablebox from Comcast & a subwoofer. The cheap $20 isolator available online didn't do a good job since comcast signal was degraded per their tech. He said that it introduced some noise feed back to their other customers. Not sure how much of that is true but he did say that if I were to get an isolator get something over 1000mhz and this one fit the spec. I installed it and so far all is great. No issues with performance but the box label instructed to read instruction which were not in the box. So I went to their website and read it. 5

[F-type female] The factory shipped the device to us very quickly; we received it in only two days. The mechanical workmanship is jewel-like; it's almost a work of art. The instructions imply that one end is the input, but this is not the case, as it's bidirectional. We confirmed this with Ditek tech support, whose response time was exceptionally short. Not cheap, but solid industrial quality generally isn't. 5

[F-type female] I've been selling and installing both the RF only and RF+IP models of the ZVPRO since 2015. We had one power supply fail in that time frame. That unit was in a less than ideal location being bombarded with construction dust. The customer also had daisy chained power strips which I'm sure didn't help. That's it. We've had no other issues. All these units are still in service. 5
