The Snypex 8x32 HD Profinder Binoculars Reviewfrom Snypex 8x32 HD Profinder Binoculars Reviewcombine high-definition glass optics and phase corrected BAK4 Roof prisms to deliver bright and clear images with an extended angle of view. The optical elements are fully multicoated to provide high transmission of light and feature a special coating that repels water from optical surfaces. With an 8x magnification and 32mm objectives, you obtain an optimal tradeoff between notable magnification, insignificant image jitter due to unsteady hands and a compact form factor. You can easily spot your targets with a wide 6.8° angular field of view and quickly bring them into focus with a large center wheel. In addition to observing distant scenes, birds and game, the minimum focus of 4' allows you to study in detail close objects like animal footprints, marks or landscape features. The binoculars also feature a 4mm exit pupil, a 15mm eye relief, and a interpupillary and a diopter adjustments.

The binoculars also feature a lightweight and durable fiberglass reinforced polycarbonate body with a lightly contoured rubber armoring that provides both external protection and a secure non-slip grip. With the housing that is o-ring sealed waterproof submersible to 3', you can use them in a wide range of outdoor activities including boating and rafting. They are also nitrogen filled fogproof and will not fog-up because of a high humidity or rapidly changing temperatures. To ensure a non-slip grip during focusing even while wearing gloves or in bad weather, the center focus knob is wide and knurled. The binoculars are mountable on a tripod with an optional adapter and has rubber twist-up eyecaps. Also included are a rainguard, tethered lens covers, a semi-rigid carry case, and a lens cloth.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I'm trying to decide between an 8x32, 8x42 or a 10x42--Can anyone point a reference that would allow me to compare these before I buy?

A: the 10x42 Leica Trinovid binoculars have a Field of View of 339' @ 1000 yd The 8x 42 Leica Trinovid binoculars' have a Field of View of 372' @ 1000 yd You will see the 8X binocular's view is 20% further away Again the 32mm size ocular is 25% darker than the 42mm size

Q: 2. What is the interpupillary distance?

A: Interpupillary Adjustment 54 to 74 mm / 2.1 to 2.9"

Q: 3. Where are these Trinovids manufactured?

A: The Leica 8x32 Trinovid HD Binoculars, are made in Portugal.

Q: 4. Are there flip up lens caps available for the objective lenses on this binocular? The caps this comes with are driving me crazy.

A: Unfortunately we do not sell any flip caps for the ZEISS 8x32 Victory SF Binoculars.

Q: 5. I'm wondering what made people buy these instead of the 8x42 SF? are they bright enough? I love the size and weight, but I don't want to sacrifice any optics. Thx

A: The ZEISS Victory SF 8x32 binoculars are slightly smaller and lighter compared to the ZEISS Victory SF 8x42. A larger objective lens is not really needed unless you are often using them often at dawn or dusk.

Q: 6. Where do I get the eye cups for non glasses wearers?

A: The ZEISS 8x32 Conquest HD Binocular has Twist-up rubber eyecups for use with or without eye wear. So you can use them with or without glasses.

Q: 7. Hi, I am confused between Celestron 8x32 TrailSeeker (which is Dielectric Coated and lite in weight) and Celestron 8x42 Nature DX ED (which has Extra-Low-Dispersion but no Dielectric Coating). The price difference currently is $30. Which one should I go for? Please help. Thanks Chy

A: The Celestron 8x32 TrailSeeker Binoculars (Green) with the dielectric coatings would be the better quality binoculars, but with a 32mm objective which is considered a compact binocular. The Celestron 8x42 Nature DX ED Binoculars while not as good optically have a 42mm objective for greater light gathering capabilities. I would suggest choosing the size you want first, and then take it from there.

Q: 8. Does this come with the caring case and a neck strap?

A: Yes, it does. I do not personally like or use any hard carrying case, but the neck strap is really good.

Q: 9. Does this come with a carry case?

A: Yes. It comes with a cordura case.

Q: 10. What are the dimensions, weight?

A: Already measured so here goes anyway. Check against specs. Weight in very protective transport case is 1#14.5 oz and without case but with caps and neckstrap the weight is 14.5 oz. Case measurements are 5-3/4 by 5-1/4 by 2-1/4 deep.

[1.5 lb] After doing hours and hours of research, I finally settled on this pair of binoculars for birding and wildlife spotting. I'm very pleased with the decision. The quality of image is absolutely great, and they're very portable. I haven't tried them in low light yet but they're supposed to be exceptional in this area. There's a good reason why this model was rated the top 2018 mid-size travel and safari binocular by Best Binoculars Review. Also, their customer service is first rate.

[Roof (BAK4)] These binoculars are really good all around. They are very sharp, the colors are accurate and they are great at handling flare. I really enjoy the fast focus too. Really fun binoculars to use.

[8x] These binoculars are truly fantastic. I have an old pair of trinovid 8x40 that were completely refurbished by Leica about 2 yrs ago. I thought they were great but these blow them away. What amaze me is these new one are even better in dim light than the old ones. I am used to high end glass, owning several top if the line line Nikon camera lens and spotting scopes. Only draw back is these a a little heavier than expected and the case is completely useless after the strap is installed

[Roof (BAK4)] These are terrific binoculars. Wide field of view, stunningly clear image, fast focus, and comfortable with eyeglasses. Also not too heavy around the neck. I upgraded from an old pair of Celestron Noble 8x42s that had served me very well, but these are in another class entirely.

[1.5 lb] I took the Snypex Knight D-ED on a safari in Africa to observe wildlife, both from a 4x4 and on foot. The image is nice and sharp, focusing is fast and precise, and with the open frame the binocular is easy to hold. The reason I got this model is that at 380 grams / 13.4 oz it's the lightest 8x32 binocular available. On longer walks, the low weight is great! In the 4x4, I also took along the excellent 10x42 Nikon Monarch 7. During the day, the Snypex was just as bright and sharp, only when it got dark was the image of the much heavier (670 gram / 23.6 oz) Nikon brighter. If you're looking for a lightweight 8x32 with good optics, get the Snypex! My only (small) gripe is that the front lens covers are difficult to attach.

[32 mm] Just buy them, you won't regret it. Clarity, colors, sharpness, close focus, glare control, ergonimics are all exceptional! The only downside I would say is they are pretty big for 8x32s and barely smaller then the 8x42. I purchased them for the incredible close focus (my pair does just under 3'!) and ended up selling my 8x42 because these 8x32s were every bit as good even in low light, the 8x42 only out did them by a couple minutes in super low light. I love these binos and bring them everywhere.

[8x] Leica, Zeiss, and Swarokski are all excellent binos. I owned a Leica 8x32 Trinovid, it was stolen. To replace it, I tried comparable priced binos from all 3 mfgs, and preferred the Leica for crisp color. So I bought another pair of Trinovids.

[32 mm] View is extremely sharp, crisp and contrasty in center 60%, with a large sweet spot because of wide field of view of 8 degrees. View is clearly usable to the very edge, unlike for the Nikon 8x30 . A porthole immersion view results that is engaging. Edges of straight lines and details in view are clear and sharp. Significantly sharper than my Swarovski EL 10x42 WB, Swarovski 8x25 compact Mountain and Nikon 8x32 HG (way too heavy, but best focusing smoothness ever). Focusing could be smoother, but OK. Just a tad big and heavy for an 8x32. Fits perfectly in Nikon 8x30 case. Its own case and strap are a bit clunky. Well made and warranted. A terrific value. Reasonably comfortable to hold. Rain guard and strap are just fine if you know how to use them.

[8x] Incredible optics: clear, bright, true colors, edge to edge consistency. Outstanding field of view. Fast focusing. A tiny bit heavy for 8X32s, but in exchange for optics I can live with the weight, lighter than any of the 8x42s. Very comfortable neck strap that comes with the binoculars.

[8x] These binoculars are lightweight, compact and offer a bright, sharp image. Very high quality build. I wear glasses and wish they had a little more eye relief but other than that highly recommended. I use them almost exclusively for birding.
