Although highly compact at 26" in length, which allows for a small footprint and makes it suitable as a travel cart, the black MultiCart 8-in-1 Equipment Transporter - Blackfrom MultiCart 8-in-1 Equipment Transporter - Blacksupports up to 350 pounds and expands into eight different configurations. It vastly decreases time and effort when moving huge amounts of equipment. It telescopes from 26-39" to fit equipment of different sizes and shapes. As far as it being a travel cart, when folded it even fits in airplane overhead bins. Folded to its most compact form, the R2 Micro measures only 26 x 14 x 6.5".

A: The outside width dimensions of the square metal tubing deck is about 13.5 inches. I use the optional base boards with all three of my carts which provide a better, solid deck and expands the deck out to a 16-inch width.

[Steel] Way way better than expected, I got the one with the smaller wheels, it rolls just fine, extremely stable. Even when fully extended, no dip or bending in the middle. When you extend it, there is a pin that pops out to keep you from pulling it apart in two sections. The knobs for that extension are substantial and spring loaded for easy unscrewing. Folds down just fine too. Opening it up involves pulling a cable to squeeze the two upright sides together, to clear a locking pin. A bit awkward, but doable. I personally just squeeze the uprights together at the low side manually, to achieve the same and fold it down. I did put some velcro cord straps on it, to keep the folded handles from banging around in transit, when folded down. 5

[28 x 16 x 6.5"] This cart has been a literal lifesaver for my son. Instead of making 10 trips to transfer all his music equipment from the house to the car, he loads up the cart and gets to the car in no time. It has also cut his loading up time after a night of music to a fraction of the time. This cart is light, and folds up so easily and compact - it's a great purchase! 5

[19.5 lb] I have had this cart for four years now, and I have used it so much more than I expected. It's been essential for three apartment moves, when bringing heavy groceries from the car to my unit, picking up packages in the lobby, and transporting bags and luggage. The only thing that bothers me a little is the length of the handlebar. With me being 6 it's a bit short -- I wish there was an easy way to extend it. 5

[28 x 16 x 6.5"] Bought this after the 1,347'th can I help you carry that? comment, and now I'm not sure how I lived without it. It folds up small enough to fit in the trunk of a Volkswagen, but extends large enough to carry all our major gear in one trip. The square tube piping is solid and doesn't feel like it's under stress, even when extended all the way out. It also came with some adhesive rubber strips for the main base pipes to keep things from sliding off. I also appreciate the RnR ecosystem accessories. I paired mine with a multi pocket accessory and a stand bag that each fit perfectly over an endrail. With the modular bits, you can take just a bare cart or rig it out to carry more as needed. 5

[28 x 16 x 6.5"] Well made can hold up to 300 Lbs. of gear. The large wheels make it easy to maneuver. It doesn't fold completely flat, but it holds more than carts that do. We LOVE it!! We have loaded for huge cases on it and strapped them down and it rolled with out any problems across carpet. Its great buy for the price!! 5
