A: I don't know of any lens that has 100mm filter threads. That maybe be the focal length but not the filter thread.

A: I have no experience with the EOS 30 but the Macro Ring Lite works fine with my Canon 70D and 5D-MIV bodies. The EOS 30 has a hot shoe, TTL, and external flash compatibility so I would expect the Yongnuo Micro Ring Lite would work as well on your EOS 30. Might be best to check with the manufacturer as gilbert has suggested.
