[Yes] After a few days, i realize that case it's amazing. Safe, secure, and solid.
I put my zoomh5 and a Tascam dr05, with batteries, cables, etc., and no problem.

[Latch] While this case is very heavy and expensive when compared to other racks it is the safest solution when traveling you gear.

[Universal] After a lot of research, I decided on this portable rack for occasional remote recording gigs where I unrack studio gear. It's lightweight yet durable, and its unique design allows the rack to lift out to put on top of a desk or table. The rack has metal rails, and rubber feet which can be stacked with multiple units. During transport, the rack is suspended with structural foam with room for sway all around. I use it with a Furman PL-Plus C on top with an Apollo x8p and some shallow patch panels. Cabling travels separately with my configuration to save case space. The wheels are nice and wide, travels over grass well. The latches are unique to me coming from Pelican, they're design is secure but easy to open quietly, and has TSA locks built into two of the front latches. The pull-out handle is tall enough for me at 6', with the button to unlatch the handle on the right it's a little awkward to push as I'm right-handed but it's not a deal-breaker.

[Latch] This is a great solution for traveling with a small rack component.

[Latch] The case has a very strong rigid exterior, a real hinge, secure latches, pressure vent, lid gasket and rubber grip handle. Interior has the depicted cutouts for the H5 and another for whatever you can fit into the area. The lid has an egg crate soft foam liner. This is a great case for the equipment that it is designed.

[Latch] The handles on the inside top of the rack are very helpful. Its a high quality box that integrates the rack. I am in the process of assembling everything so the picture is not too attractive, but it seems to be a nice rack unit. It is designed so if you had multiple sets of these you could stack the rack units on top and they interlock with the feet and dimples in the top. It is way too expensive, but I guess it is unique enough to justify it I guess, but just barely. The 6RU setup is a big box. It comes complete with a bag of good rack screws. I can't wait to finish getting it filled out with my new portable rack system.

[22.5 lb] I received my travel case and was immediately impressed by the solid construction, well thought-out design and customizable nature of the case. From thick, durable material, roller wheels and dual-position lockable roller handle, four latches (One on each short side and two on the long side), two padlock holes, and rubber gasket for ensuring the contents are safe from the weather.


I took my case on a camping/hiking trip in which I was going to be filming waterfalls. The case sat outside in the weather (just outside my tent) for 4 days straight, collecting dew on the outside, but all of it's contents was safe, dry and secure from the weather on the inside. I was putting a lot of trust in the case to protect several thousand dollars worth of camera equipment and everything was clean and dry the entire time.


I especially appreciated the rugged design and ease of customization. The soft foam that are pre-scribed cubes, made it super easy to make multiple, very detailed 3-dimentional shapes. There are 3 separate layers of foam, which is nice and allows you to build a shape of varying depths for objects of complex shape.


The case is a little heavy and you'll want to take advantage of the roller wheels when you can, but it also contains handles on three sides that are spring loaded and will snap back to be flush and out of the way when being stored. The handle grips themselves are extremely comfortable and grippy and feel very secure. One other thing of note is this case is stackable and can lock into each other if you have multiples. I have three and they are very secure stacked. It's a very well built smart design and you can tell this is a very mature product.


Overall, this case is amazing and I highly recommend it. Several people on my trip commented on how impressed they were and expressed interest in picking one up themselves. Don't think twice about it... it's absolutely worth the money.

[Yes] Nice to have a case where my Zoom H8 fits perfectly inside. I always hate when I have to remove foam for my equipment to fit in. The case is built strong.
