The dbx DriveRack VENU360 Loudspeaker Managementfrom dbx DriveRack VENU360 Loudspeaker Managementis a loudspeaker-management processor designed to protect and optimize front-of-the house, stage monitor, delay-fill, and zone loudspeaker systems in clubs, outdoor music events, or houses of worship.

Connect the VENU360 between your mixer and amplifiers/powered speakers, and use it for precise feedback elimination, automatic speaker level and room equalization, crossover-frequency setting, dbx compression/limiting, driver alignment delay, and more.

The unit provides a 5 x 6 routing/mixing matrix (using four AES signals and one analog signal) and a 3 x 6 signal processing chain. The 24-bit A/D and D/A converters with dbx Type IV conversion protect the incoming audio signal from accidental digital clipping at the A/D stage, while the 32-bit floating point, 48 / 96 kHz internal processing produces professional audio quality with high headroom and wide dynamic range.

For easy operation, the Wizard functions guide you through simple, step-by-step processes to help you quickly configure the unit. For more control, you can use the manual mode which lets you customize each parameter separately. A large, bright, LCD display and nine 6-segment signal meters provide easy-to-read visual feedback. Additionally, the free DriveRack VENU360 control application offers network control via the built-in Ethernet port, and is available for iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows-compatible devices.

A: The 6 outputs on the Driverack 260 are individually configurable. The common setups would be for Full Range - Outputs 1 & 2 (all frequencies are passed), 2-Way operation - Outputs 1 & 2 (highs), Outputs 3 & 4 (lows) or for 3-Way operation - Outputs 1 & 2 (highs), Outputs 3 & 4 (midrange), Outputs 5 & 6 (lows). A: Check all connections and then check them again. Swap out cables if necessary.If you are confident your connections are not the issue, then perform:Factory Reset:The Factory Reset function resets all user presets and Utility settings in the PA2 back to their factory default state.WARNING! Performing the Factory Reset procedure will permanently reset all user presets and set all PA2 settings back to their factory default state. This operation is irreversible.To perform a Factory Reset:1. Power down the DriveRack PA2.2. Press and hold the STORE button then apply power to the DriveRack PA2. A: The dbx RTA-M microphone is not required and it is possible to use a different calibrated measurement microphone with the dbx DriveRack PA2 Complete Loudspeaker Management System. In the Wizard options menu, for the Mic Response setting, simply select the FLAT option when using a measurement microphone other than the dbx RTA-M. When the RTA-M is used and it is selected as the option for the Mic Response setting, the system's AutoEQ automatically compensates for the frequency response of the RTA-M mic to provide accurate results.

Q: 10. Is this venue360 model with Dante ?

A: No, the dbx DriveRack VENU360 Loudspeaker Management System does not include Dante. The model with Dante was the dbx DriveRack VENU360-D Loudspeaker Management System with Dante (B&H # DBVENU360DAN), which has been discontinued by the manufacturer.

[7.8 lb] I got this to replace a failing EAW processor at a church. It's amazing to hear the before and after. This is the best the system has ever sounded. The KF300e and SB330 speakers are not on the built in list, which means more manual adjustments are required, but entering the correct data was not hard. Very impressed. 5

[7.8 lb] I just used one for the first time and its a very well designed and relatively easy to use DSP processor. I'm not much of a software programmer and I found this to be relatively easy to use. I set up a sound reinforcement system manually with all of the supplied control blocks, I did not use the wizard setup but I expect it works very well. I will definitely use this device again when the situation allows. 3 inputs and 6 outputs was very handy for my needs. I ran stereo mains, mono sub and 3 discrete outputs to feed program material to other devices in other areas. Thank you DBX for making an amazing product. Michael Moscatelli 5

[7.8 lb] this is an amazing product. my only complaint is that its difficult to remotely change the inputs from analog to AES and that you cannot mix in the front panel mic input into a mix bus which would make for a killer talk-back in a pinch capability that could come in handy under off-label uses. 5

[N/A] Got this as part of a PA setup. I run my mixer outputs into it and let it handle the final feed before sending to amps. It has 6 outs so easily handles 3 speaker pairs. Pros - loads of features - fully customizable per input and per output - the wizard gives a decent starting point for your setup - software gui handles smoothly - really solid support forum if you're stuck - dbx feedback suppression rocks!!! Cons - gui can't be resized so it's tiny - if you aren't using computer interface it is gonna be a lot of button pressing to use during a live gig - don't change which units are being used in the chain during a show cause everytime you change them, the sound cuts out while it loads the new stuff in Long story short, I just used this for a banquet that included an auctioneer and roaming floor mics. The roamers loved being in front of my speakers and between some dynamic mics and this unit, I didn't care either. I left all 12 on live roaming with a 5 second max hold. It was so quick and efficient I never noticed a change in voice or even heard the feedback. The EQ was nice for balancing to my speakers and the room. Built in final compression was useful as well cause I didn't have dedicated compressors for all the roamers and they were very erratic with mic handling. I started with the wizard, turned off all effects, leveled my entire system, added back in the effects and used pink noise to level the room. Quick and easy. 5
