[0.055 lb] I purchased this item on a whim, because it seemed like a 'neat idea'...little did I know that this would change how I shoot and process my film! By having fields for the project, film type, camera settings, filter/lighting scenarios, and even a built in zone-system scale and grey card I now am truly logging every shot I take with complete accuracy and using my film backs (on a Mamiya RZ67) for N+/- development instead of letting them collect dust. About the only improvement I can think of for this product is to make the covers wax-coated or laminated so as to be water resistant....that would increase the cost however, and therefore it's not a serious request more of a 'wish list'. GREAT product, i cannot recommend this highly enough for serious film shooters that are developing their own film and really want to control and document the process.

[32] I quickly found this notebook to be a must have for film photography. It is perfectly designed as a fill in the blank format notebook for the most important notes a film photographer must take for each frame. The notebook is designed for 15 rolls of 36 exposure 35mm film. The size is a bit of a trade off. It fits perfectly in a back pocket but it is also a bit small to include many notes about an individual frame. Overall, I consider this notebook to be a must have.

[32] Admittedly, I don't typically go back and review my notes, but it just so happens that I needed to the other day to verify the day and time of a particular image. The notebook saved me!

[32] As a film photographer, taking meticulous notes of what I create photographs of and the camera settings and lens type and filters is of great importance to me. This notebook is a powerful tool to help me maintain organised notes, and I am so happy to be using it.
