[IPS-Type LCD] I bought 1 of these because of the price. When I got the monitor I was blown away by the picture quality for the price! After using it for sometime with out a hitch I bought another and am about to buy a 3rd one. I bought the first 2 from another company because B&H did not have it then. I'm happy to see that B&H carries it now. With this monitor don't be fooled by the listed resolution, the clarity is spot on HD! When your talking 7 the resolution is sharp enough to pull focus with. The manufacture list it as 1920 x 1080. The listed resolution is the actual resolution. The color is not spot on like the resolution is, its close but for the price that is the sacrifice. I found that tweaking the color hue and contrast on the monitor you can get it close to match the monitor built into our cameras. We set our cameras to the kelvin to match the light temperature so color accuracy is not hugely important to us.

[142 ppi] This monitor works great on the camera. You could spend a lot more, but I don't know why you would want to. The quality of the video on this monitor is great, there are multiple input choices and an audio monitor. Its construction seems rugged and durable and it fits nicely in a custom slot I built into my camera bag. I bought a universal monitor mount, but this unit came with one, so don't buy the mount unless you want an extra one. Sun shade is nice but is a bit fussy to snap on - not a deal breaker, though. I'm happy with this rig.

[Yes] Once finding the Auto brightness setting and turning that off, this monitor blew me away! Bright and seemingly colour accurate so far - very happy, especially for the price! You won’t regret this purchase.

[1280 x 800] We're using this on our Sony D50 video camera's. One of the Sony monitors died, and Sony no longer supports them. This is a great color monitor. It was easy to connect using standard BNC cables. Note: This monitor comes with a standard 1/4 hot shoe mount, so you don't need to buy one. I wish that had been listed under what's in the box on the B&H website. Would have save me $17, but in our line of work you always want to have a spare anyway.

[Yes] I'm using this with a canon 6D and it make is so much easier to focus! You can trim the hue and contrast but I was missing focus without it and now, it's alway spot on!

[800:1] So far no problems at all. I use it for focus pulling and it was the right price for a simple job. Of course its not the best monitor for reviewing footage, but it meets my needs. I wouldn't spend a dollar more for a focus monitor. Only catch is the construction. Not at all bad, but I wouldn't rent it out to a stranger.

[12 W (Maximum)] I bought this when it was on sale with a package. So far so good. I hook this up to my dslr's when shooting video. I love the false colors. It really helps you nail exposure. It is tough to judge on most dslr's and this is a perfect companion to help alleviate that problem.

The controls are easy to use. I never read the manual and can pretty much do anything I want with no trouble.

While not the brightest monitor in sunlight. It is still not a problem to use out in bright daylight if you shade with your hand to judge the image.

The scopes are accurate and the focus peaking is a great feature to have. It saves time from punching in on the dslr and just gives accurate focus every-time.

The touch screen is a nice feature. Did not notice how much I liked it until I had to use my Marshal on a shoot that needed SDI and I kept touching the screen with no results. So despite the fact I'm an idiot. It did show me how much I rely on it.

If you are looking for a bargain monitor with a ton of features you will not go wrong with this one.

[800:1] Had this monitor since 2018, and I use it manly for focus pulling. It's a great monitor, good brightness, easy to use buttons and at a great price. Construction is a bit flimsy but it's held together so far for me over 5 years for me. I am gently on my gear though, I take care of it. I wouldn't rent this out in fear of it being damaged. Only complaints are sometimes the sdi in can be a bit finicky, but it's usually the type of cable you have attached. Doesn't like a lot of strain/weight on the input. Haven't used HDMI much so can't attest to that. Throw on a large battery and this thing can run for hours! Wouldn't throw any more money into a fancier monitor when there are so many other things that are more important.
