Peaking highlights the sharpest (most in focus) areas of the image with a color outline. The monitor features two modes, monochrome, and color. The monochrome mode shows the image in black and white with the red peaking outline, and the color peaking mode shows the image in color with a red peaking outline.

The False Color feature provides under/over luminance warning by presenting the image as a series of color values representing exposure.

The waveform provides an objective evaluation of your video signal. It displays the brightness of your image on an IRE scale, allowing you to see if your image will clip, and where your black levels are.

The Histogram provides a graphic depiction of how many pixels in your image are at each level between black and white. This provides you exposure information so you can objectively judge how much of your image is clipping, falling into the shadows, or being captured faithfully.

The vectorscope displays the signal on a graph so you can check the phase of your colors. The vectorscope function also verifies and checks the overall tint and hue of an image.

1:1 pixel-to-pixel mapping allows you to look at parts of your image without any scaling, so you can see the actual detail and not be fooled by scaling artifacts.

This mode allows you to see the video signal outside the active picture area. Settings include Off, H/V Delay, H Delay, and V Delay.

Allows you to display an image with lower resolution than the screen with either a black border around the image or fill the screen entirely.

[1280 x 800] I am enthused to share with you such an amazing company. B&H have been a huge part in my career of film and photography. Firstly I want to applaud them for sticking to their beliefs by taking off on Saturday. God Bless you for that!!! Secondly the amazing support. The amazing prices. The fast shipping. The perfect quality products! It's 100%. I'm not being bias. I have worked with Adorama, and other leading companies but there is just something different with B&H!

[1280 x 800] I use this with my BMPCC and I can't think of a better value. Beautiful, clear picture and it comes with so many valuable itemslike a hard shell case, sun hood, AC Adapter and more. It does come with a ball-joint shoe mount, but that's the only negative thing about it. The mount was cheap and stripped itself out the first time I mounted it to the rig. Fortunately, I had no plans to use it permanently. I now use it with my Noga Cine Arm, and it absolutely amazing. What you get for the price is unbeatable, and the monitor itself is very high quality, durable and well made.

[1280 x 800] The monitor needed a bit more saturation, and the sharpness needed to be taken out, and the image looked very good hooked up to my s100. The 1280x720 is a good resolution for a 7 screen. I would recumbent this for inde film makers, and churches on a budget.

[6.336 lb] Our tech person at church needed a waveform monitor. He suggested some in the $700 - 1000 range. When I found this one, I checked with him and he said it might work.

He was able to use this monitor to test and recommend setting changes for our 5 cameras. Using this monitor's testing ability allowed us to greatly improve our webcast

[6.336 lb] I am very pleased with this monitor. At first when I ordered I was a little concerned how the build quality would be because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the monitor to see that it has excellent built quality. It has a little weight to it as well, which I personally like. Some of these lighter monitors I have worked with just don't hold up. My first use was on a 15 foot jib crane while filming a shoot in California. Everything worked exactly as it should. The sun hood also has excellent build quality. I like the fact that it is made of canvas and velcro, none of the snap on plastic junk that doesn't last.
