However it looks as though the knobs on the camera bracket extend above the surface of the camera bracket in such a way that they would impact the bottom of the camera and prevent mounting. A: The knob does extend past the level of the plate. Depending on the size of the camera base you might have an issue. The other thing to consider is these are only rated to 3.3lbs.

A: I don't think so. I used these mounts for a tiny Marshall video camera. (Smaller than a GoPro) it worked well for that, but I can't imagine it would support a 60d. Especially with accessories. I'd look for something that is 100% metal construction if I were supporting a heavier and more expensive camera rig.
