A: This will support both 7mm and 8mm shafts. Generally Elinchrom puts one in the center of the light to accept a 7mm rod. And near the base where it connects to a stand a port that accepts 8mm.

A: Once the ED15 is set to the sound activation mode, it will chase through the built in programs as long as it hears audio.

A: The 3 main pieces are 27.7 x 21 x 5 inches and lid piece is 27.7 x 21 x 2 inches.

A: It's made in China. It can fit 95mm filters, so you can definitely use it for that.

A: The Elinchrom FIVE Monolight Kit would offer a slightly higher output at 522 watt/sec compared to the B10X Plus which is 500 watt/sec and much more than the B10X which is 250 watt/sec. In terms of the amount of full power flashes it can provide, the FIVE monolight offers 450 full power flashes, which is a bit more than the 400 full power flashes of the B10X and the 200 full power flashes on the B10X Plus. Lastly, the FIVE monolight would be physically larger compared to the two Profoto options.

[10 lb / 4.5 kg] I primarily do sound location recording for film. A producer recently gifted me with five of these Elasco single-channel cable drop overs. He rarely used them, but I immediately started using them on every shoot to guard my audio cables and stingers. They easily snap together to make as long a run as you need. I recently was on a gig where I needed more, so I ordered five additional identical Elasco single-channel cable drop overs. Greatest benefit is obviously protecting the integrity and longevity of my cables and stingers from crew members walking on them, standing on them, and rolling carts and gear over them. Safety wise, this is a great preventative measure from people tripping over any of my cables. I rarely need to gaff tape cables down anymore which is a major financial savings. Just be sure to get the right width and height to fit your cable needs. The ED1050 Single-Channel is sufficient for two to three audio cables or two 12-gauge stingers. If you use larger diameter cables or run bundles of cable together, I'd recommend bumping up another size or two, just beware that the larger you go in height and width, the weight of each drop over goes up as well. No question it raises your perceived professionalism a notch or two with clients. Don't know how I made it so long without these. Highly recommended. 5

[5] This foam changed my life! If I had any idea that this foam was wonderful as it is I would have bought this a long time ago. It is truly a beautiful gift to sit and tear each little section off and watch my cats play with them. No fuss, no mess. Maybe next time I will get a pelican case (whatever that is) and try this foam in it. 5

We used it at a jobsite where we had Wheel Loaders weighing in at about 150,000#s and they did not waiver one bit. [10 lb / 4.5 kg] Used for running single wire. Only fits up to 1 in size but company has larger size channels. Believe is designed to be stepped on which is not a problem at all, and even drive carts over it with ease. 5
