Send one HDMI signal to up to four displays with the KanexPro 1x4 HDMI Splitter. This splitter can be used to transmit content protected by HDCP, useful for Blu-ray discs and other HD content. Resolutions up to 4K are supported on inputs and outputs. The unit is built in a metal enclosure and comes with a power supply so it's ready to be used right out of the box. This version has an EDID mode for applying a set display resolution from one output to all the outputs.

My question is, what kind of power CPU or ability does my computer need to have to make this work? I dont want to overwork my computer to achieve these 4 separate displays. I also dont want image quality to suffer.

A: Your computer is not affected. The splitter does not need any special signal boost from the computer. You can use it to split and send a signal from a TV if you like or video camera.

A: Canon and Nikon batteries are 7 dvc volts and this runs on 5 dcv. While it would be possible to build such a power adapter at this time we do not know such a device. A: It will be displayed what the main video will be coming in. If I understand the question correctly .

A: You could use this to split the HDMI signal from a Canon C300 to a monitor and a Teradek Cube. However, this device is better for permanent installations. If that is what you are doing, that is fine. However, for splitting the HDMI signal while on set in active situations, we suggest using a monitor with a HDMI loop through to the Teradek as a more convenient solution.

[1.25 lb] It's nice when a product simply works. We are using this splitter to provide video to a projector, 2 stage monitors and a monitor for the speaker/presenter. We use different source inputs, sometimes running through a converter before sending HDMI to the splitter. In all these configurations, the splitter works perfectly and as documented. Very happy with it. It seems to be well made. 5

[1.25 lb] I purchased this splitter to facilitate sending the HDMI signal from a BluRay player to either/or a TV or a projector after passing through a receiver. Previously to watch a BluRay on the projector we had to redirect the output of the player to the projector via the players component outputs. Now, using the splitter, we no longer need to do that, and the video is better! 5
