The Profoto OCF Flash Heads Speed Ringfrom Profoto OCF Flash Heads Speed Ringis part of the Off-Camera Flash system developed for the B2 head but is also compatible with the B1 and B10s Off-Camera Flash. The speed ring has been scaled down and fitted with an easy patent-pending snap-in system for the softbox rods while the hard rubber collar has been replaced with a lighter weight silicone rubber substitute. The speed ring and optional softbox are able to rotate 360 degrees.

A: Yes, it will. But you can use the Profoto Speedring for OCF Flash Heads - 101210 - a little less expensive.Profoto softboxes are divided in categories by the amount of heat they support. They are OCF, RFi and HR. The first, OCF is designed to work with heads that have a LED modeling light - B1 and B2. It means less heat. The second, RFi is designed to suport some more heat, D1, D2 heads for example. They work with halogen modeling lights. Then we have the third, continuos light devices that need to be HR - heat resistant.The size of the fit is always the same, the differences are in heat resistance and weight.

Q: 2. Can this be used with Godox AD600Pro?

A: No, this is a profoto mount. you need a Bowens mount.

Q: 3. Would this speedring allow use of a Cheetalight/Godox AD360 bare bulb flash?

A: The short answer is No it would not! It is a dedicated speed ring for the profit system and apart from being fairly expensive for what it is there are more suited and better priced adapters for your purpose

Q: 4. Can this speeding be used for a Chimera soft box?

A: No, this speedring only works with Profoto OCF softboxes. It does not work with common softboxes because the diameter of the ring where the rods mount is much smaller.

Q: 5. Does this speed ring work on either the Elinchrome One or Three?

A: The Profoto Speed Ring for OCF Flash Heads does work with the Elinchrom One and Three. That speedring only works with the Profoto OCF Softboxes.

Q: 6. Will this speed ring work with paul buff light modifers or soft boxes?

A: Each softbox MFR has its own diameter of rods, so we cannot be sure.

Q: 7. will this work with a Profoto OCF Softbox (2x3') on a b1x unit?

A: no you need ocf ring

Q: 8. Will this speed ring work with RFI products? I see that rfi has its own speedring too. What is the difference?

A: This speed ring only works with the Profoto OCF Series softboxes and beauty dish.

Q: 9. Can I use this with my Profoto OCF Beauty Dish?

A: Best bet for you would be the Profoto OCF speedring.

Q: 10. Will this work with Godox ad100

A: No, the Profoto Speed Ring for OCF Flash Heads is too large for the Godox AD100.

[8] This is by far one of the easiest speedrings I've used to date. Each hole is color coded so you can't mess up putting together a softbox. Took one time of assembly and disassembly to get a feel for how this works! 5

[Strip] This is my second adapter for the OCF line up. It's light weight and durable. The color coded dots make it easy to assemble. A unique feature I like the most is when you disassemble the soft box there is a 45 degree break so you don't bend the rods. 5
