[54 Wh] Quick and easy replacement, MacBook now lasts as long or longer than it ever has.

[54 Wh] I have to run an older MacBook pro with legacy software for work related projects. My apple battery would die in 20 minutes and I have not been able to find a reliable replacement. While in the city near B&H I remembered that they have nearly everything. Sure enough they had exactly what I needed and it works great. The charge lasts all day. I appreciate that they have always had the items I needed when I check with them and the service is friendly and knowledgeable too!

[0.915 lb] Followed the instructions for powering up the battery at NuPower web site. Original battery lasted 9 years. Hope this battery is as durable. Fit and finish is excellent. Best local price was $110 with tax. Best review of other after market batteries. Also, B&H is a favorite photo and technology vendor for me.

[Lithium-Ion] Fits perfectly as a replacement for the original Apple battery. Clear but complex instructions (online) for conditioning battery. After several weeks, no issues to report. While more expensive than some other brands available online, I wanted to avoid any hassles with fit or operation. So far, I'm extremely pleased.

[Lithium-Ion] I just replaced my 2008 era MacBook battery with a NuPower replacement battery. Right out of the box the before fully discharging the new battery it indicated 65% charge level. This battery is lithium-Ion 54 watt hour, better that the original 45 watt hr unit. Easy old battery out new battery in. Initial charge cycle requires you to fully discharge the new batter before charging. The only drawback was it too so long to discharge the new battery before charging fully. B&H pricing for this battery was less than anyone I could find and shipping was free & on-time!

Saw some other cheaper batteries online, but results seemed mixed at best, so I decided on proven tech from B&H. Always the best choice at a fair price!

[Lithium-Ion] This is a updated review. My battery purchased failed to charge within months and Nate at B&H responded quickly saying that while it was outside of the 30 day window for B&H replacement, the OEM offered a 1 year warranty. Nate provided info and my invoice, which was helpful. B&H responded quickly to any questions.

The NewerTech OEM process was a little more involved, and I'm guessing my ticket was lost when they revamped their support website, or perhaps it was my error, but I did open up another ticket recently with OWC and I got tracking replies and quick service. They are shipping out a replacement for free.

I'd recommend B&H anytime. For us users out there, always test and use your products and communicate concerns and follow up promptly. B&H is great. Customer's too are responsible for a good customer experience.
