A: You would need a 62mm to 72mm step down ring.

A: The thread on both sides is 1.0 mm or coarse.

A: You could use the Heliopan 72-77mm Step-Up Ring (#141) on the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Lens. You will not get vignetting but you will not be able to use the lens hood.

Q: 6. Will the 54mm end fit a lens with series VII (Series 7) threads? I believe they are 54.3mm (2 1/8 inches).

A: unfortunately this will not.

Q: 7. Can this cause vignetting on a Laowa 7.5mm lens?

A: The Heliopan 46-58mm Step-Up Ring will not cause vignetting if attached to the Laowa 7.5 lens, but the "lens hood" must be removed to allow for the connection of the 46-58 step up ring.

Q: 8. Hi, do you know if this lens will fit a Lomo 16-opf-12-1 Zoom 10-100mm? The thread seems to be around 75mm but I'm not sure.

A: Unfortuantely, we are not sure. It appears the LOMO 16OPF 12-1 Cine zoom lens 10-100/2.5 16mm lens is an older Russian lens that has since been discontinued. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any information listing the filter thread size for this lens.

Q: 9. What is the thread pitch of the 43mm threads?

A: The thread pitch is not listed for this adapter. However it will allow you to use 52mm Filters on a 43mm Lens.

Q: 10. Is some vignetting expected when using this step up ring at wider apertures? Can vignetting be reduced by stopping down?

A: One should not expect vignetting when using the Heliopan 49-62mm Step-Up Ring (#175). The 62mm filter will be significantly wider than the 49mm lens threading and should not get into the image at all.

[Brass] I bought this better quality ring because I wanted to use it to mount a heavy teleconverter. Earlier I bought a cheap one for a lighter use. It works but is not as well made and does not have the smooth feel of the B+W. 5

[54 mm to 58 mm] Its a pretty great product, tiffen makes quality items, the filter seems sturdy and strong, doesnt see to bend easily, but you should not force it. Awesome and cheap way to share filters between lens. 5

[54 mm to 58 mm] I'm still new to photography, but after hearing about this product, I had to try it out. I bought it and used it for a few days. While the auto WB on my D90 was quite good, it wasn't necessarily perfect. I'm kind of a nut for accurate representation in my pictures unless I'm specifically going for a specific effect, of which I'd still like to be in control of. The only thing I wasn't totally happy about, though I understand why it's there, is the mounting mechanism. It's just like small spring loaded bearings on the lens or filter attachment adapter. It doesn't screw in, just kind of pops on and off. I guess that assists in ease of use, but I don't like worrying about dropping filters when they're in use. I guess many people would rather have the pop on and off than screw on, and I'm probably in the minority. Still, a great product, highly recommended especially if you've had auto WB problems with your camera in the past. 5

[0.05 lb] Even though $20.00 sounds like a steep price, I bought a 9+ used Sensei to use until this one arrived backordered. The difference is HIGHLY recomended if you don't want to unscrew your Protection Lens etc.. The difference between the two is simply unexplainable. Well worth the expense for serious trial and error photography. I used this for my B+W Rubber Hood, to alleviate Vignetting on my Nikon D3500 55mm Kit Lens. Perfect. 5
