The AtlasIED AP-S15A Power Conditioner & Distribution Unitfrom AtlasIED AP-S15A Power Conditioner & Distribution Unitfeatures noise filtering for unwanted Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) that is commonly introduced into AC lines by nearby radio transmitters or wireless products. EMI filters are also incorporated to reduce noise from Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) generated by items such as electric motors and switching power supplies.

Unstable AC Mains voltage is one of the main reasons for equipment failure. The amount of energy that can be injected into the power system can be immense with voltages reaching 6kV or amperage peaks of 3000A. These spikes are very fast and usually only last for a very short period of time. The AP-S15A's circuitry is fast, can suppress unwanted energy, and sustain the suppression up to 2 milliseconds. The AP-S15A includes a 12' removable IEC cord with retainer.

A: No, the front panel is made from a 19 wide piece of metal. The rack ears are not removable.

A: A power conditioner may help if the issue is stemming from voltage fluctuation when the fridge kicks in. A: Furman has not specified the exact dimensions of the body of the PL-PLUS C without including the rack ears.

A: No, the APC AP7900B Switched Rack Power Distribution Unit only shows the total draw of the device.

A: No it does not the Furman PL-8C operates at 120v

A: As a power conditioner, this unit has the potential to get hot from time to time. We would recommend trying to keep this on a hard surface if possible.

[12' (4 m), IEC] Got this PDU to upgrade a Bretford computer cart that had only three outlets to move a Dell Precision workstation + 32 4K monitor around the campus. You can never have enough outlets for all your peripherals and this PDU provides plenty. Best part are the two front outlets (though spacing them wider would be nice), wish this was a more common feature in PDUs. The flexible mounting options are a plus (comes with two pairs of mounting tabs - one for flush mount, the other for recessed/elevated mounting). Also appreciate having a dedicated grounding post to allow bonding the entire cart (or server rack) to ground. Minor issue, the six holes on the ends of the PDU for the mounting tabs are not symmetrical/equally spaced, so it makes installing the tabs slightly more complicated than it could be. Not sure if I'll use the cord retention bar which has slots for zip-tying each cord (zip-ties are included), but the bar easily attaches with four small screws and can be adjusted up or down. CyberPower does commit one of my pet peeves - using two different screw sizes (one for the mounting tabs, another for the retention bar) for user-assembled parts when just one size screw would not significantly increase the cost of manufacturing the product as this simplify things for the end user (especially if you end up loosing a screw). 5

[102 - 132 VAC] This power conditioner was backordered for months, but it was well worth the wait. It's low profile easily fits in half a standard rack with ample switched and unswitched outlets, making it a versatile choice for studio or mobile applications. 5

[102 - 132 VAC] I am a part time musician. This product really made a difference in my guitar rig. I have this item mounted into a rack case and have my guitar amp, pedal board and effect s processor all running off this unit. It has cleaned up some power issues i have been dealing with and has eliminated almost all of 60 cycle hum. It seemed to clean up the power while protecting my entire set up. I am a fan 5
