A: Unfortuantely, we are not sure. It appears the LOMO 16OPF 12-1 Cine zoom lens 10-100/2.5 16mm lens is an older Russian lens that has since been discontinued. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any information listing the filter thread size for this lens.

A: One should not expect vignetting when using the Heliopan 49-62mm Step-Up Ring (#175). The 62mm filter will be significantly wider than the 49mm lens threading and should not get into the image at all.

Q: 9. Is this coarse or regular thread?

A: This ring has standard threads.

Q: 10. Looking to use this on my sigma 18-35 f1.8. With a filter on it, will there be vignetting?

A: You could use the Heliopan 72-77mm Step-Up Ring (#141) on the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Lens. You will not get vignetting but you will not be able to use the lens hood.

[3 x 3 x 1"] Well made and sturdy. I got it as a make-shift hood for the tiny Panasonic 12-32mm which does not come with a hood for its minuscule 37mm filter thread. Although a 37-52mm step-up ring might make more sense depending on what filters or polarizers you want to attach. 5

[0.05 lb] I have older version of Leica R 35/2 lens. It takes 48mm filters or I can use step-up rings for 52mm or any larger size filters. Well, the problem is that 48mm filters can be hardly found. If I did find them, they are very expensive. So I purchased 48-52mm step up ring by Heliopan that is what I review now. Heliopan step up rings are fantastic, because they are brass rings, not aluminum ones. They will not bind nor cross thread either. I have all sort of step up rings by B+W, but they are anodized aluminum. I don't trust their rigidity. Also they sometimes are stuck with filter rims, so binding is a real problem with any brand name step-up, -down rings as long as they are made from aluminum. Heliopan 48-52 mm ring is a bit heavy, but I like its solid feel and it gives me a worry free confidence from binding or cross thread. It will last than any filters or myself for that matter! 5

[3 x 3 x 1"] Hefty, durable ring. Dense brass. Smooth threads. Optimal release properties. Works best with THIN ring filters. Old style, thick ring filters will have longer male threads, causing the filter end to hit bottom before filter shoulder makes contact with Step-Up ring rim. Regardless, it works. 5
