Q: 1. Will the 8x12 paper print 8x10 prints as well?

A: Yes it will print 8x10 on the 8x12 print pack.

Q: 2. Does it support wireless printing?

A: This does not have wireless printing as an option. It does have a USB port and may be able to be used wirelessly with a third party wireless printer server but I sure it would not be supported by DNP

A: All the media DNP sells is Glossy. But there's a printing feature to make matte prints and it looks really good.

Q: 4. It is being advertised that this printer (DS620A) can print 6*20 prints and I am guessing this would be accessible via software. Does the software come with the printer?

A: yes the feature is in the software that comes with the printer.

Q: 5. I always ran out of the ribbon before the photopaper, I feel it's sich a waste. Do I have to always change the whole set( Ribbon and paper) or is it possible to just put a new ribbon in and keep using the rest of the paper till it rans out?

A: You want to change both at once. It's designed for that. At the end of the roll, you have a couple of feet more. The print packs are always sold with both paper and ribbon, so you really wouldn't gain anything except a big headache. I suspect that the extra footage is for when you have the 8x10 print pack. The ribbon has to be different to accommodate 8x12, but they can just use the same paper roll for both. It also wastes paper when you first insert a roll by slicing off pieces while it registers the position of the paper.

Q: 6. Silly question here but I am unfamiliar with this type of printing...does this include the ink as well as paper? This is for the DNP DS6204x6 4 x 6 Roll Media for DS620A Printer

A: Yes it does which is both good and bad. Quite often you wind up with a lot more paper than ink. Its typically better to go ahead and replace both together but that leads to a waste.

Q: 7. Can it switch back and fourth between print sizes without having stop and switch out media sizes?

A: Yes! it's just your printing settings you need to adjust. Media kit has nothing to do with it. It will cut 2x6 or 4x6

Q: 8. How long will the paper last if you only use 50 pictures out of it at one event and have to wait to use it for another?

A: Typically paper like this has a pretty good shelf life. If you left it for up to a year we would recommend using fresh stock, but it should still be good for all applications if its left unused less than 1 year.

Q: 9. how much 4x6 would this paper produce ?

A: A 6x8 print pack is not designed to print 2 4x6. It will print only 1 4x6 print. That means you are wasting ink by using to print 4x6. so you will get only 200 prints on one roll of 6x8.

Q: 10. I'd like to know if the used ink ribbon assembly is recyclable or does the manufacturer accept them back for repurposing?

A: We put them in recycle bin.
