[9 x 7 x 1"] We needed a monitor for our production team because we were using an old TV for awhile instead. It works great, especially for when filming outside.

[1 lb (0.5 kg)] This monitor is feature packed for the price. We are using it for an on set production monitor which works very well. It has everything you would want including audio monitoring at the monitor. Focus peaking is very nice and the wave form is handy too. We use the NP-F970 batteries and we yet have to change batteries during a shoot. I was also very pleasantly surprised when the monitor arrived in a very nice metal case. The only negative is the menu navigation is a bit clunky but is alright once you get used to it. Bottom line... You'll have to pay more than twice the money for a monitor with the same features and quality. Highly recommended for low budget and student film programs.

[0.8 lb] I was shooting right on the shoreline in high winds and the DELV-7 hood was blown off my monitor and destroyed in the wind and on the rocks@! I bought this replacement (exactly thaw same as the original one supplied with the monitor) and was very lucky that the company had just introduced this replacement to the market! Some monitor manufacturers don't have replacement sun hoods available for their monitors. It fits and works perfectly!

[9 x 7 x 1"] I am an independent producer, shooter, editor, scriptwriter, etc. I shoot a great many interviews and have, as of late, been reducing the size and weight of the gear I have to lug around. For the last year, I have been lugging around a TV set I bought@. It was cheap and I really only needed it for positioning of the interviewee. I had to bring power blocks and stingers to run the TV set. Now, with this hot little monitor, I not only get great positioning, outstanding quality of image, and other features (some of which I don't use), it also runs forever on batteries. Before I purchased it, I read some of the reviews. I must say that I could find none of the problems other people say they had. I think most of those other reviewers preferred to open the package, turn everything on, and, then, when it wasn't exactly what they expected, tried to read the instructions. I read them first and the unit is great. I have compared it with other units that cost four times as much and I can't tell the difference.

[9 x 7 x 1"] This monitor worked great for use as an on-camera preview monitor. We used it with an SDI cable for a VariCam35 and the client and the camera operator was able to see the composed shot, which looked great on the screen. We had to use a different arm for the monitor, though, this only comes with a hot shoe mount, which we could not use on our camera.

[9 x 7 x 1"] I am using this monitor on a Sony PDM 320 and it replaced a monitor with much less resolution. HD focusing is much easier now. Also the ability to use my Sony batteries when shooting where there is no AC to plug into is very helpful. Only thing I did not like was the short power cord that was included. You will need to get a 4 pin XLR power cord if you use it with a 110 volt power supply. One other thing there was an HDMI cord that was missing in the box. B&H promptly sent me another one. B&H has always been a reliable source for all my video production needs.

[0.8 lb] I use this on monitor to have access of Panasonic batteries that I also use for Panasonic cameras. A little tight fit but all works well.

[9 x 7 x 1"] Excellent features for the price. I never know how much difference a field monitor would make in our production quality. This unit has false color which aids focussing; wave form and histogram views to aid the lighting set-up up front so less effort is needed in post. Unit comes with a sun shield for outdoor use and has a variety of mounting options. It can be mounted on top of a DSLR with the hot shoe mount or on a stand or tripod. Multiple inputs formats can be used although I only use the HDMI input. I use a separate HDMI selector switch to enable multiple cameras to use the same monitor which facilitates camera matching.
