Q: 1. Do I need any admittance to take it outside US? Is it legal to export it to another country?

A: From my understanding certain Laser Range Finders are restricted for export outside of the US. I would contact your airline company, as well as the manufacturer. It varies between different products.

Q: 2. They gave the batteries but no run time, so what is the run time? Or what's (Ah/h)

A: Unfortunately the Manufacturer does not supply that information. My apologies.

Q: 3. What's the proper way to clean the specs

A: If you mean specks seen through the viewer when using the device, the image quality of the object, depends mainly on operating characteristics of this image intensifier. Due to this fact black spots, which are inherent in the image intensifier, may be seen in the field of view of a viewing device. Acceptable defects, which may be seen in the field of viewing device, are given in the table on p.12 of the manual. If you refer to dust on the lens, then clean the lens and eyepiece optical surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with “lens cleaner” obtained from any camera store. Clean the lens surface carefully with circular movements starting from the center.

A: Hard to tell body, hinging is metal, all else is covered in heavy rubber: extremely solid build. Made in China

Q: 6. In which country are these binoculars made?

A: They are made in China.

Q: 7. Are Eschenbach binos German-made?

A: They are made in China.

Q: 8. What is the shipping package dimensions and weight?

A: We cannot provide that type of information ahead of time, as it can vary at every shipment. My apologies. The only dimensions we can provide before Shipment is the Manufacturer's Dimensions which are 4.4 x 4.0 x 1.7 / 113.0 x 102.0 x 42.0 mm, and weighs 11.640 oz / 330 g.

Q: 9. Is this unit LE only ?

A: Here are the specification from the manufacture: http://www.newcon-optik.com/products/tactical-optics/lam-3g/

Q: 10. Does center focus mean only that, no adjustment for eye difference as in binoculars?

A: Yes that would be true. Center focus you do not have any diopter adjustment. It's the center focus wheel.

[18.0 mm] This thing is built like it was designed for military use, thick rubber all around, completely sealed and without any protruding delicate parts.
The optics is great, sharp and bright.
I think it's a fantastic scope, that can be used even without a tripod, just hold it against something and it works.
The only slightly negative thing I could find is the focusing mechanism, it's quite stiff and located at the front, but it's really not a huge deal, you can get used to it.

[MRAD Crosshair] Great little binoculars for the car or bush walking. Extremely light, good clear image and eye relief. A little stiff in the focus knob initially, but soon smooths out. A solid yet lighter replacement for my 25 year old Nikon Porro type 8 x 23 (now a 'monocular' with only one tube working and sadly a repair too expensive). The build quality suggests I should get many years out of these as well. Good solid belt case comes with it so no need to upgrade it.

[Straight] Image quality is very good, true to color, despite the small 18mm lenses they are very good in low light. I used them as opera glasses and they are perfect due to their clarity and the wide field of view. Outdoors they are also nice to use due to the wide field of view. I didn't think the close focussing distance of about 20 inch is very useful but it turns out it's nice to look at flowers, butterflies, frogs and other shy wildlife. They are also super lightweight. That helps a lot for their use as Opera glasses. They seem to be sturdy though. The right diopter once adjusted seems to stay the same throughout the entire focussing distance. The lenses are recessed and well protected from accidental touching and scratches. The eye relief is good. The only drawbacks I can think of is that they might not be the most robust Bino's due to their lightweight construction and the overall look of the white plastic housing looks a bit cheap. A grey-ish finish like expensive DSLR lenses would have been better. The ocular rubber can be folded over to use them with glasses on. This is a bit cumbersome when you hand the binoculars back and forth to your partner who doesn't have glasses. A system like on my 8x20 Zeiss binoculars would have been better.

[18.0 mm] Swarovski 10x52 NL Pure is a wonderful new addition to the NL Pure line. Super sharp / Super resolution. Great performance in low light.
Ergonomics are so comfortable in the hands. The just over a half inch in barrel length and roughly 6 ounces in additional weight versus the Swarovski 10x42 NL Pure are so worth it for the gain in low light performance and resolution. The 10x52 NL Pure is now my go to Binocular. B&H is a terrific seller, I have been buying from them since the early 90's. Thank you B&H for the fast shipping and very good shipment packaging.

[MRAD Crosshair] I have a pair of 10x56 Vortex binoculars that I use for hunting.  Because of the 56x objective lens they are very heavy and as a result I set out to find some binoculars that were lighter to carry around.  I also found that the 10x opcital zoom was hard for me to keep steady.  I have started doing more birding than hunting and thought the 8x optical might be a better all around choice.  Found these by reading a Birds & Blooms magazine where they were talking about different binoculars and had recommended them.  These are very light weight and compact, lots of eye relief, feel solid and good in your hands.  The lens are bright and clear all the way to the edges (where as my Vortex were a little hazy on the edges).  I am loving the 8x vs. 10x as well.  Case and neck strap are also very nice.  I would definitely buy again.

[MRAD Crosshair] I wanted another pair of small binoculars to carry around. I have the Steiner Wildlife 8x24 and I bought these Eschenbach 8x25 after reading a review of another Eschenbach product. These were 20% less expensive than the Steiner and maybe slightly better glass. Very small and portable. I'm quite happy with my purchase.

[42 mm] This is a really well designed pair of binoculars. Small enough to fit in a fairly large pocket, light enough that you don't really feel them if you hang them around your neck. At 4x it's easy for even old hands to hold them steady enough for casual viewing. All of the mechanics of focus adjustment (except for the right eyey diopter adjustment) is internal to the case so they don't change length when one changes the focal distance. Add to that they focus closeup at about 20 inches and you have something handy enough to use for every day carry.

[Straight] I bought this scope because I wanted a scope with strong magnification and from past experience I know that Zeiss build very solid and good quality products. Their optics, clarity and precision have always been very gratifying. I live on the coast and like observing the maritime traffic as well as the wildlife in the vicinity. This scope is very rugged and solid. All in all a well built piece that will withstand everyday field abuse easily and last for a long time. The only minor downside is that you will feel it's weight after a short while of holding it so you are best off using a good solid tripod with it. All this quality comes at a hefty price but this scope should last you an eternity.
