A: This adapter works well with Leica M 240 camera because the digital display can be used to frame and focus the image. Although film type M cameras have the same flange focal distance as the M 240 and will work just as well with this adpter, but you will have to guess the object distance and the framing. The distance is easy enough to guess (using a small aperture helps) but for framing you may want to imrovise a flash shoe viewfinder. Good luck.
