Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is the maximum height only 21 ? Can that be right?

A: The Audix MB-STAND is a low profile floor stand. Used in conjuction with the Audix MicroBoom System. See the following link for application example. a href= http://bhpho.to/1KJSkbq target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1KJSkbq/a

Q: 2. Is the height adjustable on this stand? If so, how high does it adjust to?

A: The Quiklok MS/332 is height adjustable from 29.5 to 50.8 .

Q: 3. Is it possible to adjust the heights on 1st tier ?

A: Yes, sort of, there are 3 holes about an inch apart and you can choose which is best to put the tightening screw through and that will bring the upper keyboard closer or further from the lower keyboard. So it is a bit adjustable. It was improtant for us since our keyboard player is only 5' 4 and sings so we did not want her hidden behind the upper keyboard. We lowered it very close to the top of the lower keyboard. Worked great.

Q: 4. Would you be able to use this with the Nanlight Pavotubes as a light stand?

A: The thread size on a mic stand like this one is 5/8, so if your light stand uses a 5/8 thread then you will be able to use it with this stand.

Q: 5. Is it possible to put this tripod on a dolly ? If yes what model would work best ?

A: Yes, you can use this tripod on a dolly. For example, you could use the Davis and Sanford W4DS.

Q: 6. Can the boom be swapped out with a larger collapsible boom?Something like this added? a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/757123-REG/Rode_MICRO_BOOMPOLE_Micro_Boompole_3_Section.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/757123-REG/Rode_MICRO_BOOMPOLE_Micro_Boompole_3_Section.html/a

A: The Rode Micro Boompole is designed for handheld applications. Unfortunately not directly compatible with this stand. We do carry boom arms that are compatible with a mic stand that will allow for longer reach than the arm included with the Pyle Stand.

Q: 7. Will this work for a Rode video mic pro? I want to have it above the person standing, just out of the video shot. What adaptor will I need to attach the Rode?

A: This microphone's camera shoe mount also has a 3/8 thread at the bottom to allow mounting on tripods and boom-poles. Use this adapter: WindTech M-1 5/8 -27 Female to 3/8 -16 Male Thread Adapter for Microphone Mounts and Stands B&H # WIM1A

Q: 8. Can I mount the Godox VL150 directly on top of this?

A: Yes, the VL150 will attach directly to this stand.

Q: 9. What's the depth in inches of the 2nd and third tier?

A: The main tier of the QuikLok QL-623 X-Style Double Brace Three-Tier Heavy Duty Keyboard Stand has a depth of 17.9" (42.5 cm), while the second and third tiers have a depth of 12" (30.5 cm).

Q: 10. Where is this Boom manufactured?

A: This product is manufactured in China.

[Black] This is a very nice stand. It includes a wooden top unlike most of the cheap metal stands. Super nice for the $$.

[Black] I bought this stand purely for its looks, and I'm quite happy with it. It looks great, and the height and angle lock, which makes it useful as a small table in addition to a music stand.

[Black] A sturdy and handsome music stand at a great price. Highly recommended and superior to other manufacturers. The desk is larger than the standard metal stands, and it does not look like something that was used by the Army band before and repainted. Easy to put together and screws tighten to hold heavier loads. Very satisfied :-)

[39 x 4.2 x 4"] I bought this stand online so that I could save some money. I could have bought it locally but it was considerably more expensive (even after adding shipping). I would recommend that you shop with B&H whenever possible. They always deliver as ordered.

[Fixed Length] This stand is heavy and built like a tank. All parts are metal including the adjustment handles, unlike most stands which are a mis of plastic and metal. The base is nice and wide, and with the counterweight on the boom you could mount a very heavy mic before you would ever have tippage. This is not a very portable stand, but is ideal for situations like a singer at a piano where you need the boom extended all the way.

[5/8"-27 Male] It is great to finally find a tripod mic stand that weighs more than the microphone is is holding. All the adjustments work great too. I havent road tested it yet, but I have other On-Stage stands that are very dependable; I don't think this stand will be any different.

[Tripod] How sweet. Yeah you can go simple, standard metal, but the wood is just beautiful to look at. There is no metal involved with the top piece. I thought it might of had a metal back, it does not. Good way to have equipment to look like a piece of furniture.
