Lighting designers in need of a bright, linear LED light strip should check out the American DJ Ultra HEX Bar 12, a 40" versatile LED linear fixture that has twelve, 10W, 6-in-1 HEX LEDs (RGBAW+UV). The 40° beam angle makes it especially useful for wide washes and its dual mounting brackets also function as floor stands, making it ideal for uplighting applications.

The fixture utilizes American DJ's patent-pending Quick Align system features end-locking magnets, enabling multiple HEX bars to be easily linked end-to-end for seamless output with no breaks of color. You can daisy-chain up to 7 units together via the fixture's built-in IEC in/out power connectors. The Ultra HEX Bar 12 is compatible with the American DJ RFC, an easy-to-use wireless infrared remote. Alternatively, the fixture may be operated via a DMX controller or the unit's built-in programs. A power cable and two mounting brackets are included.

[Fan] LEDs seem to be replacing everything lately but I think they often fall short at reproducing the same effects of the lights they are replacing. Fluorescent black lights are still the best and this one is great. And ADJ’s support is excellent. 5
