A: There will always be issues using a smaller size filter than the filter threads of the lens. Most notably you are likely to get vignetting.

A: You could use multiple step-down rings together if the combination you need isnt available. I would suggest using more than two together. Also keep in mind that using a filter that is smaller than the filter thread of a lens can cause vignetting. So you wouldnt want to use a filter that is too much smaller than your lens.

A: Anytime you use a step-down ring to use a smaller filter on the front of a lens with a larger filter diameter, you run the risk of obtaining some vignetting. Unfortunately, we have no way to test or guarantee which lens/focal length combinations. While vignetting would normally be more noticeable with wide angle lenses compared to telephoto lenses, I cannot guarantee you will not get vignetting. The best I can state would be to purchase the item and see if it works for your needs, and if it does not, you would have 30 days to return the item for an exchange or refund via our 30-Day Return Policy on this item.

[72 mm to 62 mm] It allows you to use the filters for the other e mount lens (49mm) on the full frame (67mm) lens. Their cropped but it works. Especially if it's a specialized filter that you spent a lot of money on. 5

[Brass] Regarding my review called too many model; well, I can definitely say that I didn't have the right step down ring for my kit. Chrosziel did contact me, and offered me an excellent and AWESOME service, by looking into it with me and they helped me find the right step down ring I needed to fit my system + they did exchange mine for the new one !! So I'm really pleased, and I'm giving it 5 stars now, cause I know it was my mistake, and not a product default; and also because I really had a GREAT services from Chrosziel. 5

[4 x 3.5 x 1"] This is my first experience using a Heliopan product. All of my lens filters are B+W but they didn't make a step-down ring in the size I needed. I could have purchased a much less expensive ring but the Heliopan was the only one I saw with the same quality of the B+W. It is made of brass and very well constructed. I would recommend it to others. 5
