[Closed-Back] This is a well built unit and I like the royal blue color of the cable. Each individual cable is numbered with shrink wrap at each end. Also, the connectors are labeled - they're broken into groups A 1-4 and B 1-4 I find using the A and B labeling quicker than trying to sort out all eight numbers. I've read some reviews where the purchaser complained about bad solder joints. Being made in China with Neutrick clones I was concerned, too. I bought eight of these snake cables to wire up a microphone splitter and plugged in each cable individually to a mic and a mixer, with phantom power on, to listen for crackles and problems. Result: No issues! That's 8 snakes x 8 cables = 64 individual mic cables all working properly out of the box. With that many solder joints, anyone would have expected to clean up at least one or two. But, not these. For those who get one with a bad end, get your soldering iron out and deal with it - if you're in the sound system business you're constantly doing that anyway as part of general maintenance. But as for the law of averages for getting good cables for this product, I think you'll be okay. These cables coil nicely, come with a Velcro strap and lay flat when unrolled. Really good product for the price.

[Closed-Back] This mic was great, its pick up all sounds in front of it and mostly none of the background noise. It mic looks cool, nice and gold and comes with a much needed shock mount. I would pay much more for this mic.

[Dynamic] I used with my Tascam DR-40 for field recording. This headphone reduce the ambient noise and I can monitor my incoming signal clearly.

[Dynamic] Good microphone at a super good price purchased on sale from B&H for a super low, competitive price. It is smaller than many microphones of this type, roughly the same size as the popular BM-700 microphones found elsewhere, but this one has a better made, better sounding FET circuit inside. Because I enjoy building and modifying microphones DIY, I replaced the stock 16mm electret capsule with a low cost 25mm capsule and it sounds even better now. Nevertheless, this is a good microphone for the cost. Whether you will like it may depend on how you use it, as good microphone technique and setting proper gain on the mixer or other interface can make a substantial difference in results - for example, it has substantial proximity effect which can work for or against you, depending on how you use it. This is not, of course, equal to any number of larger, more expensive, and better made microphones for sale on the B&H web site. That said, it provides a huge bang for the buck and used judiciously will provide excellent results. After all, nobody really cares about your microphone - they care so much more about what you have to say or what and how you sing with it. A serviceable basic all-purpose starter microphone that can sound good and get the job done. I use mine to make spoken email messages, with computer speech recognition applications, and with my ham radio, with excellent results. Hardly a Neumann U87, but not bad for the price! And that is just MY take ... your mileage may vary. J

[Closed-Back] Good, general purpose large diaphragm condenser. It is gold vapor deposited on the diaphragm, but it's no C-414, or Shure, for that matter. However, for the price, it will get you started. I bought this mic to match up with a GXL2200 I already had so I'd have a matching pair. I use this to pick up choir groups, pianos, etc. in a live-sound environment. It doesn't seem to have the output the pricier mics have, but it's also $800 - $1000 cheaper - there's the trade-off. So far I've been able to make up for it with the gain knob. With all that said, the overall sound quality is great and noise floor low. It should work fine for just about any application.

[Black] Best headphones hands down for the money. If you are using these on your iPhone make sure to adjust your equalizer settings. Really crisp and punchy. No fatigue wearing these for long listening sessions. These are my new favorites well worth the price. I am an Audio Engineering Society member for over 20 years. My Headphone collection can easily rival some retail stores. Tascam is probably recognized more for their professional analogue and digital tape machines. I was skeptical at first since the build quality is meh... but they sound really great. You won't be Disappointed. Picking up a second pair for storage.
