Q: 1. Would this device work with the Countryman b3 Lav Mic mini 1/8 connector for Sennheiser? a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/294555-REG/Countryman_B3W4FF05BSR_B3_Omnidirectional_Lavalier_Microphone.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/294555-REG/Countryman_B3W4FF05BSR_B3_Omnidirectional_Lavalier_Microphone.html/a

A: This device should work fine with the Countryman B3 (for Sennheiser EW series transmitters).

Q: 2. Could this device work with the Sanken COS-11D Omni Lavalier Mic(B&H # SAC11WNSETRB MFR # SAN-11DWNBKTRSE)? Thanks Renzo

A: MZA-900P is listed for compatibility with Sennheiser E 908B, E 908D, HSP 2, HSP 4, ME 2, ME 3, ME 4 and MKE 2 EW Gold microphones. We offer this model for the Sanken COS-11D with the 3.5mm connector for Sennheiser transmitters: B&H # AMEMP3.5

Q: 3. Hello, I am from Chile and i will go to the NYC store. My question is: can i purchase this product, but with the 220v input? (instead of 120v, as described in description) Thanks

A: Unfortunately the ART products we carry here are 120 VAC compatible only. As a US dealer we are not able to source 220V versions of this product.

Q: 4. Will a Sony NP-FH40 fit on this charger?

A: The Sony HV Battery Charger will not charge the Sony NP-FH40 Battery. Instead, get the Watson Compact AC/DC Charger for P, H & V Series Batteries, BH #WACSOPHV.

Q: 5. Will this device work with Sure Phantom powered shotgun mic over 180+ feet of cable?

    A: Yes

Q: 6. Will this device convert a mic level signal to line level?

A: Yes, the MP-1 inputs a mic level signal and outputs a line level signal.

Q: 7. I have a MKE 2 EW Gold microphone I would like to convert to XLR. Description says this device works however specs says that it deliver 1.6V of phantom power. The MKE 2 EW Gold requires 7.5 V of power. Does this actually work?

A: This adapter will convert a 3.5mm mic with plug-in power, such as the Sennheiser MKE2 to XLR, and allow it to work with 48 V phantom power.

Q: 8. Will this power a Sennheiser MKH 416 to connect to a rode wireless go II?

A: No, the Sennheiser MZA 900 P In-Line Preamplifier and Power Supply for EW Series Microphones will not work to connect a Sennheiser MKH 416 Shotgun Microphone to the Rode Wireless GO II Transmitter. To connect a microphone that requires 48V phantom power to a wireless transmitter, it would be suggested to use a portable phantom power supply such as the Denecke PS-1A Portable Single Channel 48V Phantom Power Supply (BH #DEPS1A) along with an appropriate adapter cable on the supply's XLR output connection: https://bhpho.to/3vYUjr9

[2.85 lb] Using between microphone and amp for a simple PA system in a large dining hall. Handheld recorder plugged into the high impedance line while feeding the XLR to the amp. Works great.

[24.3 ohms (x2)] This small and easy to mount preamp fits right on the back of a battery pack with velcro. The knobs are easier to use than those of the HD camera it is mounted on. The quality audio and limiter gives me much more confidence than the built-in limiter and audio pre of the camera.

[2.85 lb] The naysayers are wrong or got faulty units. I have the sure version which predates sound devices as a brand, but it looks exactly the same and supposedly has the same (or very very close) signal path. Saying a tascam TD-100 sounds better is crazy talk. I have a tascam TD-100 and unless I got a bunk unit, it's way more noisy, has way less headroom and gain and sounds muddy and one dimensional in comparison. Don't get me wrong, the TD-100 is greT for the price but it's in a different glass. Need more gain before noise? Look no further. Want pro preamps that operate on aa batteries? Check. 48v phantom? Check. Solid, weather tight build quality? Check. It's not a neve, ua, focusrite red, API, etc, but it's awesome sounding to my ears and you can bring it to a mountain top or Antarctica if you want.

[2.0 lb / 0.9 kg] I have used these in the past, and are really nice to use where space is a consideration, but even when space is not a consideration this is an item that I would still consider using. The RDL Website has information about using this preamp, so I would suggest visiting their Website if you have never used this before.

[2.85 lb] The Sound Devices MP-1 is a good single-channel preamp for recording audio for film and video. I use mine with the Rode NGT-2 shotgun mic on a boom pole to record clean dialog with a good signal-to-noise ratio. Solid construction, not to big or bulky, this is a great tool and my clients appreciate my use of it.

[24.3 ohms (x2)] This item arrived exactly on time, as it was projected to. Likewise, it was packaged with extreme care to defer damage in transit.
