A: The MZW4032 is a gray windscreen. The MZW4032 also available as MZW4032-A (anthracite/black) and MZW4032-C (Blue). Neither available here at B&H. The MZW-1 is similar, however does not include the center groove for the colored identification rings that are included with this model.

A: The foam for the Pelican 1751 Three-piece Foam Set is not closed cell foam, but rather composted of 1.3 polyurethane. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide information regarding humidity retention, however, it is recommended to use desiccants in the case of storing items that may hold moisture within the case. A: Yes. This windscreen is recommended for use with the VP89L which has a length identical to the SM89 (386 mm or 15.21 in.). It features a standard sized hole that accommodates shotgun mics 19-22 mm in diameter (0.74-0.87 in.). The VP89L is 21 mm (0.815 in.) in diameter versus the SM89 which was 386 mm (15.21 in.), so it will fit the SM89, although a tiny bit more snugly than the current VP89L model.
