[Black] Very well made product. Bought 2 of them to use as desk stands for my iLoud Micro Monitors, and they're fantastic for that purpose (IF that you have two 5/8 to 3/8 adapters that is). Also got some sorbothane hemispheres to put on the feet of the stands to decouple them from the desk. Great results :)

[Straight Stand] I was taken aback that it came packaged on a card, like a cheap product instead of in a box. But it does the job, and is a good value for the money.

[5/8"-27 Male] I needed a solid, small, vertical stand... and I expected as-much from Atlas. The stand is exactly what I needed, and expected... exactly the quality I'd expect from a company like Atlas.

[5/8"-27 Male] I needed a stand to use when running a portable ham rig in the field. The Heil microphone is a bit large and heavy so I was looking for something that wouldn't topple over easily and the height adjustment comes in handy when sitting at a picnic table in the park so that I don't have to lean down to speak into the mic. All in all a find product.

[0.2 lb] This is a solid mic stand that fits the in between height. I didn't know Atlas made one of these and stumbled on it by accident. A typical stand is appx. 30 min. height and this one is appx. 30 max. I coupled this with the pb11ex atlas boom and it is the perfect fit when micing a drum kit. The snare drum in example is ez to get a good mic placement when using DMS10E. Also good for getting good position on guitar cabinets and other things that the regular size stand makes awkward. Quality is pretty good although the older Atlas were speced better than this Chinese made stand. It all works well enough but I still have doubt as to how good the stand will hold up over time. I'd buy another and be happy.
