The 24" Cable Techniques CT-PXR-24K Lectrosonics UCR Receiver Bag Cable is designed to connect Lectrosonics UCR-type receivers to XLR-3 mixer inputs in an over-the-shoulder audio bag. It features an XLR-3F right angle connector properly orientated away from the DC socket to a straight XLR-3M with Neutrik XX Series connectors and Canare L2E5 cable. The black connector shells have colored rings for easy identification, and use gold pins for long-lasting connectivity. Pin-1 is tied to shells on both connectors.

Q: 1. Does the CT-3 have a built in speaker or a headphone jack to monitor incoming line/mic level audio signals?

A: In addition to its onboard lights, the dbx CT-3 Advanced Cable Tester uses a test tone generator which sends signal out of the jacks on the left side of the unit. The Test Tone generator is strong enough to drive certain devices directly for testing without additional power. For example, a speaker may be directly connected to the CT3 and the 1KHZ tone may be heard from the speaker. Headphones can be directly driven, as well as telephone lines. The unit does not have a built-in speaker.

Q: 2. will this work to plug into my ir extender kit to receive the cable remote signal?

A: It might work, but some of those will only work with their own receivers. But this one can be plugged directly into your cable box if it has a jack for remote IR. If that is too far away, you can extend it with just a 3.5mm headphone extension cord.

Q: 3. Is IFBT4 block 19 compatible with the A1 receiver, will the frequencies match up?

A: Yes, the Lectrosonics IFBR1B Bodypack IFB Receiver with Charger (A1: 470 to 537 MHz) is compatible for use with the Lectrosonics IFBT4 Frequency-Agile IFB Transmitter (Frequency Block 19), which covers 486.400 - 511.900 MHz (B&H # LEIFBT419). It can also be used with the Lectrosonics IFBT4 Frequency-Agile Compact IFB Transmitter (Block 470), which covers 470.100 - 495.600 MHz (B&H # LEIFBT4470), and the Lectrosonics IFBT4 Frequency-Agile IFB Transmitter (Frequency Block 20), which covers 512.000 - 537.500 MHz (B&H # LEIFBT420).

Q: 4. hi is this the new r400a or the old version? the picture is the old one but they discontinued that and called the new one the same model # (it's blue with the rounded front plate)

A: No. The Kramer 1/8" to IR Receiver Cable is designed as a companion to an infrared repeater that has an external remote IR receiver input.

Q: 8. Does dbx CT3 test shield of RJ45/CatX (STP, FTP, etc)?

A: The manual does not specify if the unit tests the shield of an RJ45.

Q: 9. I have a ONKYO AV receiver HT-R 391 in a cabinet and Remote do not work if the door is closed do you think this will work with this receiver?

A: yes. it's internal part (ir diode) is the same part in all receivers.However, you MUST have a remote jack./ port.

Q: 10. Will this work on a Profoto Clic Softbox Octa (2')?

A: The Angler FB-G24 Fabric Grid for FastBox FB-24K Octagonal Softbox (24") will NOT fit on Profoto Clic Softbox Octa (2').

[Gold] This tester really covers everything I need. Both in the studio and on my live gigs. Easy to use, and really appreciate having the tone generator when I am setting up on my own. Batter compartments sees a little flimsy. 5

[Black] This baseplate for the DSR4 is needed if you wish to upgrade the Firmware on the DSR4. When in an SD SL-2 upgrade doesn't take. The unit needs to be taken out of the SL-2 and this baseplate put on to load the upgrade 5

[Black] Yeah is pricey but this thing is solid. Metal internal frame and you can really snug the supplied nuts tight for the cold shoe. Removing the cold shoe and mounting on a small friction arm is really nice too! 5

[0.25 lb] A solid built, metal cable tester. I've only used it to test BNC and RJ45 so far, but it's been an incredible product. Helps me double check patching in venues where the wiring isn't always labeled properly. Very clear LED's while testing. Will definitely buy this one again. 5
