[Locking] One feature I really like is the adjustable foot at the bottom. There is a pointed metal tip for traction, but there is also an adjustable soft plastic tip that will screw past the tip for, say counter top surfaces. The telescoping legs allow you the get the height you need.

[Locking] Reasonably sturdy, and perfect for my a6400 with an ultra-wide lens. The clamps secure the legs in place,-no slippage. Keep your expectations in line with the price and you'll be happy. Way more convenient but longer than one with 4-5 screw-type adjustments.

[2.5 x 1 x 0.4"] I purchased this connector to make a test jig for wireless mics that have a TA4F connector. The appearance and construction of this TA4M are very good, and so is the B&H price. The flex relief has an appropriate amount of flex, unlike some competing connectors which are too stiff.


Included with the connector is a QR code that takes you to the cabletechniques.com website for assembly instructions. But the instructions there do not match this connector. I suggest going to the Switchcraft website instead.

[0.04 lb] I previously had been using someone else's tripod for the last 4 years and when I moved I left it. So I tried to live without one and realized..nope. I am just an amateur and use it for fun mostly but even then, my quality reduced without one and forget about taking photos of a group using the timer.... Since I have a telephoto lens and I adore bird photography, I decided to get also a monopod since they were also super cheap. I found this option to be super affordable and reputable. I LOVE the foot the best because you just twist the rubber up or down so you can use the metal spike or not. I questioned my need for a head but as soon as I started using the monopod, I realized I don't need one so I am glad I saved the extra money. I chose this one also because of the height, I wanted to make sure I was able to get it high enough according to my height if needed, some monopods seem a little short. Plus the weight limit fit within my telephoto lens weight range which was probably the biggest factor.

[Locking] The photo doesnt really show it, but the part on the barrel that is supposed to come down and screw onto the bodypack really is there. The solder tabs inside the barrel look like those in other higher quality connectors.  I think this is a good alternative to the much pricier options.

[0.04 lb] The Magnus DLX-M14 sets up and breaks down quickly. The storage pouch is a nice addition. The locking system keeps each segment in place. Great price, too! Thanks B&H...!!

[2.5 x 1 x 0.4"] Appears nicely made - threads are smooth, strain relief looks adequate and can fir multiple sized cables just by cutting at the desired point.

[Locking] This lightweight and very portable monopod is great for stabilizing my shots, when I'm using my Canon Powershot, fully zoomed in. And an additional benefit, it comes with a carrying case with a strap.
