The Heliopan 30mm SH-PMC Protection Filteris a simple, clear filter designed for general protection to the front of your lens. This optically clear filter helps to reduce dust, scratches, moisture, and other elements from damaging your lens without affecting the overall image quality.

The SH-PMC multi-coating provides a total of 16 coatings, 8 per side, for significant reflection reduction (below 0.2%) as well as dust and moisture repellence for easier cleaning.

This Heliopan filter is constructed from Schott glass for increased optical clarity and color fidelity. It features a brass filter ring for durability as well as jamming prevention.

[30 mm] Great filter with slim design yet still keeps the inner threads so I can use the cap on my 16-35. Will definitely buy this again for the 24 TSE. 5

[30 mm] I doubt there is a lot of optical difference between the decent brands. But what I have always liked about Heliopan is that consistent, high quality build. Brass mounts, Schott glass, multi-coating, and thin profile. I use them on my Leica M lenses and they're a fraction of the cost of the Leica UV filters and at least as well made. Great products. 5

[30 mm] It's a very high quality filter. I bought it for Macro Elmar-M 1:4/90, but the irony is that I have to remove the filter to be able to put on the cap on the lens. The cap does not fit on the filter. 5

[0.06 lb] Got a Heliopan clear filter to protect my Nikkor 70-300mm zoom telephoto lens. While there is glass between the lens and the subject, the Heliopan Protection Filter is just like it isn't there, yet it provides protection, which is its defined purpose. 5
