Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is the Shure SM48 mic compatible with the Canon Vixia HFR30 camera?

A: The Shure SM48s-LC does not require any power to operate, and will work when connected to the Vixia camcorders using the proper cable. The Hosa MXM-015 is designed for this purpose. a href= http://bhpho.to/1FmOzWH target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1FmOzWH/a

Q: 2. Is the boom arm removable?

A: Yes, the boom arm can be unscrewed from the top of the stand.

Q: 3. Does the boom arm telescope, too? Or only the vertical shaft?

A: The boom arm is a fixed length, but can be moved back and fourth.

Q: 4. Does this mic need a direct box when connecting to a mixer? The mixer is a Yamaha MG if that matters.

A: This mic can plug directly into the microphone input on channels 1 thru 4. No other boxes are needed.

Q: 5. Could you tell the weight of the hole package?

A: Total package weight is just under 3 lbs.

Q: 6. Can the SM 57 microphone plug directly into my Canon HF 100 HD video camera with a 1/8 (3.5MM) cable?

A: The Shure SM57 can be connected to the 3.5mm input of a camera. For the best sound, it is recommended to use a combination of XLR cable, and specially designed XLR to 3.5mm adapter. The Kopul LMT100 will match the low impedance output of the mic to the high impedance input of the camera. a href= http://bhpho.to/1yMIinD target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1yMIinD/a

Q: 7. Does this mic require phantom power?

A: No, the Shure SM57-LC Dynamic Instrument Microphone does not require phantom power for operation.

Q: 8. Will this microphone drum mount fit on a Audix F10 or F12 mic?

A: I've never tried them on Audix mics but if you have mic clips for F10 and F12, then you should be ok. You can even attach regular microphone clips on to this rim mount too.

Q: 9. Hi! Will this pedal work on an octapad like Roland SPD-30? Could you send it to Miami, FL? How long would it take? Thanks!

A: You may calculate your actual shipping options/order totals by adding the items you want to a shopping cart. It will then list the shipping options, descriptions, ETA's and fees to your location.

Q: 10. I just got this shire package, but how come it has a low output? i don't know what the problem is. I triple checked everything is plugged in right and my settings are fine. My preamp is a Behringer Eurorack UB1204-pro and I'm using logic pro.

A: Get a cloudlifter to boost the signal.

[1.7 lb] These stands are just right for several pro applications. Strong enough for our D112's or Beta 52's on kick drum or the ever popular uber-versatile SM57 for guitars etc. It's small footprint let's me sneak it into tight drum kits where larger base stands fear to tread. Saving trailer space is another plus as I can transport 4 of these babies in the same area as one of our round boom stands. Can't think of any downsides as this was a second purchase of these particular stands. Try em - you won't be disappointed!

[Mono] We use these stands for podium mic stands and the versatility makes them perfect for our presenters

[Black] This stand has a small but heavy base. The stand without the boom is just the right size to mic our bass drum, so we are not even using the boom. This allows us to have an extra boom to use somewhere else. It takes up a lot less space than the other stand we had micing the bass drum. Great product and was cheaper than other similar products.

[1.7 lb] Recently decided to mic up my kit for recording. I'm not a drummer, I'm a guitar player, but I sometimes do record myself playing drums when I'm working on a project. I did not own a bass drum mic so I ordered this from B&H. It's great. I also used it to record the speaker cab for my bass. Came out great.

[Solid-State] I am using this stand for the kick drum and smaller amps. The heavy base keeps the positioning of the microphone very stable.

[Cardioid] I used to keep my microphone on the table, but all the rats and other varmint were really stanking the thing up. Now, thanks to its surprisingly heavy base and petite boom arm, I can keep the mic ABOVE the desk, close to my mouth at ALL times! I'm going to save a load on windscreens!!!
